Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

How did you meet the Big Man then Swede?

I'm a freelance journalist so I did an interview with him last week, nothing big but it was a good talk (it will feature in a football magazine here in Sweden).

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Tim Flowers has joined Dowie in the management team at Hull.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Excellent. I'll start the bullshit rolling.

Who's better - Weale or Fulop?

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

On one hand Weale is very good but gets caught out now and again Fulop great shot stopper who also gets caught out now and again. :102::102:

As Harry Hill would say FIGHT!!!!!

No contest. Weale every time.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

According to the OS he "scored nearly 100 goals for the Foxes"

Have they been getting their stats from Wikipedia or Soccerbase, instead of a reliable source?

Wikipedia only quotes his league goals and does so accurately.

Soccerbase quotes his league record accurately but misses out his Cup record completely.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

He must be a right strange character.

Why must Trev be a right strange character?

SwedeFox who met him thought him a nice guy and I have heard the same from other people. People like Robbie Savage, Glen Hoddle and Martin Allen are in different ways strange characters.

So far as I know the only time Tricky Trev has been in trouble was for punching Stan Collymore. I get the feeling that this greatly improved Trev's popularity within the game. Now Stan Collymore certainly was "a right strange character."

Got to love Jeff. I mean, why doesn't he do it all really? If I were employed by any LCFC media I would run it past Jeffpants before printing.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Met Tricky Trev not long after he left City. Had a chat about why PT kept playing Ade.

Trev says Ade was awesome in training, pity we never saw it where it mattered!

You don't think playing for 20+ clubs by the time you are 31 seems to suggest that he is a pretty strange bloke? He is, at the very least, absurdly nomadic.
