By the sounds of things it was no worse than was dished up second half last night until we managed to score.

Fair enough, Gaylord - but I have not seen such a pile of shit as that first 45 minutes

last night we played poorly for long periods.
i thought matty held the ball up well when he came on, and was a big influence on the final outcome.
it was also one of the best feelings, when the final whistle went, that i have felt in a long time as a city fan.those who couldnt get, you missed a good party.those who felt it was a nothing game and decided to stay at home, you missed a good party.

I struggle to see what Milan's piece will achieve. I agree whole heartedly that fans should NEVER jeer a Leicester player, manager or any other representative of the club but, surely he must be aware that this was likely to happen. If Megson is successful, the fans will be won around and if not, we know how Mr. Mandaric will deal with the issue.
I believe that Milan's fantastic gesture, last night, giving Forest the goal and City's ability to get a result should be all that is discussed. As he rightly says, a match that would have been completely lost amongst European games last night, has become a shining beacon to the World of all that is best in Sport.

Isn't it fantastic to hear Leicester getting positive press? Thanks Milan! :038::038::038::038::038::038:

“It also spoiled a night when not only did the team win a fine victory, but also when the reputation of the club, through sportsmanship, would be known not just in this country but around the world.”

I think this has a lot to do with the departure of Allen. Milan saw the signings he was offering MA as raising our world profile and wanted positive PR around the club and in declining Hasselbaink in such a public and embarrassing fashion I think this was the split in vision he spoke of.

Milan does need to be careful with that loose tongue of his. He talks of his hopes that these people will be alienated but with comments like those is risking alienating himself more IMO.

I wouldn't say that the first 45 minutes in the original match were a "disgrace". Certainly not any more of a disgrace than some other performances I have seen (including the last 30 minutes of last nights game) and besides, 45 minutes does not make a match so we could well have gone on to win, maybe even put in the best 45 minutes, who knows?

We have been praised for our sportsmanship last night and whilst it is nice to see Leicester getting positive press, personally I disagreed with letting them have their "free goal". It has been confirmed that it was Milans idea and I reckon it was something that he chose to do to take the strain off his new manager. If Forest ended up winning he would have come out and asked us not to blame Megson as he chose to put us behind from the start.

I heard the fans singing for MA2 and I disagreed with that too but there were a fair few of them singing it so to label these people as a disgrace is opening it up for them to turn on Milan. I want everyone to pull together too but what Milan has to realise is that asking people to put blind faith in him when he chops and changes things every few weeks is bound to lead to criticism from some.

Hopefully now we can build on that win last night and work on the things that were poor (like having no width for a start) and get the ball rolling. Then the people who are against Megson will have nothing to shout about.

can we claim that we really won 1-3. Been winding my mate up all day long.

Who the **** is Martin allen;)

Played wank, but the result was all that mattered.

Winning in such a fashion was amazing and made beating them ****ers even more enjoyable.

3-1 isn't a bad result really.

Gutted I wasn't there last night, was stuck up north, gutted about the result, obviously.

Fair play for letting us score, a great gesture.

Can't believe we lost we just cannot hold on to results. Leeds at home we battered them 2nd half and they nick it last minute, Peterborough in the Paint Trophy the other week, leading 2-1, lost 3-2 and of course last night :(

Seems like bringing Lennon off cost us :(

It may well have drained his energy for the game......

If there were people chanting for MA2 then that is their opinion. MM should accept certain criticisms in the same way that the fans will praise him if and when the club get on a roll. The only thing i would say is that when we play games against local rivals there is a different element to the support that city have. Imo there are a lot of so called fans that come out of the woodwork but infact only have a minor interest in City. I feel that a number of these fans attend these local games with football not being their priority. The fans that travel further a field to watch city are more likely to be genuine supporters and when Leicester take on the likes of a Norwich or Southampton, the nasty element of our fans are nowhere to be seen.

That's why I enjoy those days out more.:icon_wink

We will be on BBC 1 news shortly. ;)

The cnut who sat ( should I say stood ) next to me didn't have "having a bath" on his list of priorities. He stunk to high heaven or he had shit himself.
