He resigned because he thinks, and is advised (along with other on the board), that the deal is poor, and in any other line of business would laughed at.

Its because he was only going to get a fraction of his investment back, something like 40p in the pound....:icon_wink
Maybe it was something to do with an early settlement penalty payment to teachers to pay off the stadium and he reduced the payback accordingly......:icon_wink

Erm, long term supporter, still has his season ticket in the East Stand, partner in the largest law firm in the world, helped us out of admin by doing all legal work to square Teacher's unpaid - I would be very worried.
Or Maybe its something to do with that MM's deal is not the best, if it were all to go wrong the club will explode. To me and I don't have any interest at all in finance, the deal is awful but we're desperate.
