According to RL the deal will be done on Tueday now....

Barber makes out he is great friends with mandric but he has been telling us for weeks that it is a done deal and nothing has materialised. he is a twat

Foxes Trust Statement

Surely the time for faffing about has long gone, as someone previously said are they not there to represent the fans of the club, who did indeed contribute the mony to get them on the board. M & M has to be the way forward, a view supported I believe by the vast majority of fans, including me. so foxes trust get off the fence, and sell the shares to a man who can and will move this club forward.

I thought the FT wanted to keep their shares and that MM had all but agreed to let them? With him only wanting 75% I would have thought that would be an option - and therefore it doesn't matter whether they agree or not?

i think the plan changed since that statement, the FT have said on here they would have to sell all or nothing now. and had indicated they would sell their shares. this is before the alternative offer materialised however.

I understand there is another snag.

The price has now gone down to -10p per share, and several shareholders are having problems raising the money to pay MM to take their shares off them.

I think I'll make a rival offer then. -5p per share. I realise I'll only receive about £300,000 as a result, but if I work hard on the training ground we should be alright.

The FT have issued an e-mail outlining events since wednesday ie the meetings and reciept of Mandaric's bid, no details of the bid content but confirmation that a decision will be made in the next 48 hours, also told to expect further updates today.

I think they have to agree to the deal A-Z to save themselves from looking like idiots. If they chose to reject it I really don't think they can stop it going through. Their share equates to 2.5%, and if we believe MM had 65% without AT and GC 13% (which he's now got) Total 78%, even if the FT reject it, MM will still have 75.5%

Even if they reject it, he will still have 78% if the FT accept then he will have over 80%. I would anticipate recieving an e-mail today from the FT confirming they have accepted the bid.
