they only did it to save their cushy positions and vol eu vants

What are you on about?

Cushy positions?

Most of the trust board members don't go in the directors box. Usually a trust member is drawn at random and invited into the directors box on matchdays.

If they had voted against selling their shares presumably they'd still have been able to do this. By voting to accept the bid presumably they will no longer have this option.
So they've decided to sacrifice their "cushy positions" for the good of the club.

will they be providing us an opportunity to bow at their feet?...

FFS Durham give it a break chap. They have accepted it's what we wanted, so can we just not leave the bashing.

i'll leave it - but this is also not an excuse to suddenly apologise and kiss the ft's butts!

anyway - what is going to happen now? a new manager to follow?

Well done to the foxes trust I say. Thanks for taking care of my club and trying to be meticulous at a very crucial moment in our history. It would have been very easy to back the bid from the very off. Lets face it Leicester City has hardly been at a lower eb than it is at this present moment. But you were right to question, you were right to demand answers. You were right because it is our club and it's future is important to all of us. Anyone who backed the bid from the very start would have been naive. I was naive but I can see why you took your time. Lets hope this is the start of "the re-emergence of leicester city as a force". Blue army!

meticulously asking questions that were meticulously left unanswered...

so all the Trust bum boys think MM is great now?

They think MM is the only option and way out of the current mess - what did you expect them to do?

I had no doubts they would back his bid unless something better came along (which was always unlikely). They have done what's best for the club whilst trying to get further assurances about the future.

Whether you like the individuals on the board or not (I am not a member and do not know any of them) they appeared to have conducted themselves well (from up here in Aberdeen) and I am not sure what all of the FT bashing is about.

Maybe some of you know some facts (or have had conversations with FT Board members ) that I have not been privvy to.

Would you have prefered they rejected the bid then on the grounds that they weren't answered?

Or would you prefer that they tried to get answers, but even though they weren't forthcoming they accepted because it is the best "short to medium" term option?

Perhaps those who are now worshiping at the church of the FT could list what they have added to this whole process?

what was the point in asking these questions if they were always going to go 'oh OK then'??
