What the hell, the FT have made a decision based on the fact that they will do themselves no favours other than to sell their shares.

Wasn't it just recently they were talking to other shareholders about forming another consortium.

All they have done is made a decision that really had one outcome.

Their posts at the very start of this were wrong, also adding to rumours of MM's involvement with Portsmouth still.

As Jeff said they should of stuck to factual based comments on their own site, not spreading and adding to rumours on forums.

About sums it up for me

questions, questions, too many darn questions.

Hypothetically speaking....If the FT had said yes from the start they'd have been right (in your book). If it had all gone tits up 12 months after, the FT would have been wrong (in your book, presumably). Do you think this may have entered their heads...?

No Micky, they have not conducted themselves well at all. They learnt to keep stum towards the end of this debacle. But the first 4/6 weeks they were deplorable.
It wasn't a case of them saying yes or no to the bid.

I for one certainly won't be slapping their backs for agreeing to sell.

As everyone likes FACTS ....

FACT 1 - The FT said they would look at MM's bid when it came in
FACT 2 - As shereholders they considered all the options - although in the end this was the only viable one.
FACT 3 - They asked pertinent questions of MM - some of which he answered some of which he didn't
FACT 4 - When the bid came in they considered it
FACT 5 - Despite not getting all the answers they recommended acceptance of the bid

If you stick to the FACTS its simple really. It's all the bollocks inbetween!

I really couldn't give a feck about this as long as the takeover goes through and MM is in charge ASAP

So is this actually going ahead now??

Only just read this, been too busy with scarfs and trains!!
