How many clubs were chasing him? All cooled their heels? Maybe he is on stupid money which is why nobody will take him. Overpaid and underperforming.

I suspect he was never actually "offered out" to clubs, more like them hoping to grab a bargain because Fryatt has been out of the team.

Competent gaolscorers are hard to come by in the Championshp, and Fryatt is probably the best of those that aren't getting games.

I would hazard a guess a reason fryatt and waghorn have both been poor is the 1 up front policy. An additional reason for fryatt been on how he was treated by sousa, possibly also been in contact with pearson to plan for future move to hull.

I agree. I'm not sure which of Waghorn and Fryatt, if any, would be selected given the investment in Waghorn, Howard's form and the sigining of Vassell.

I wonder if we are over estimating what he is on money wise. I say this because I have read on more than one occasion that Brighton in leaue 1 are/were after Ftyatt.

Brighton are reasonably flushed with money. Certainly more so than a good majority of Championship clubs.
