Fryatt will sign deal - Mandaric

Mandaric concedes other clubs are interested in Foxes striker Fryatt
Leicester City chairman Milan Mandaric has told BBC Radio Leicester he expects striker Matty Fryatt to sign a new contract this week.

Fryatt has already bagged 22 goals for the Foxes this term but the 22-year-old's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season.

Mandaric said: "Things are going in the right direction.

"We are talking to his agent and I don't see any major difficulties - we want him to sign and he wants to stay."

He added: "I would be very, very surprised if he didn't sign in the next few days.

"Matty is a very bright young man, very positive, he loves the club and his team mates.

"There are people who are interested but there's one club that is more interested than anyone else and that is Leicester City."

Mandaric trying to pressure Matty into putting pen to paper

"Matty is a very bright young man, very positive, he loves the club and his team mates"

Now the poor lad will look a right @@nt if he doesn't sign. Very subtle Milan!!!

Has he gone yet? :icon_roll

Or perhaps Fryatt has indicated to him that he will be signing in the next few days so Milan has leapt at the chance for a bit of media coverage. :icon_roll

I think some people just like having a pop at Mandaric whatever he does.
He eats babies, did you know that?

hes a good man is our Milan and I think he's steadily helping to take this ship in the right direction.
