Somebody finally asked BR the Benkovic question in the press conference earlier. Better late than never.

The answer was that Benkovic is not available for "personal reasons".

I've said before that the only thing that makes sense is if Benkovic has mental health issues. If so, he's obviously not able to handle top level football at this stage of his life so it would make sense for all concerned to allow him to go home.
