It was a General point CL was making that some SPL Clubs are putting a higher price on a Player because its CL enquiring and they seem to think we have money.

Ongoing illness I'm afraid Steven, just worse lately.

Sorry to hear it HF. Wish her well from us. :icon_sad: :icon_sad:

Ross is an 'In' and 'Out' player IMO.One match he can look great the next two he's mediocre (to put it kindly).Bit of a disciplinenary problem as well.I'd sign him but for £100,000 max.

i dont think we should panic too much about the lack of signings, transfer market in general seems pretty quiet, also the fact is we didnt have a group of rubbish players last season, we had a squad with some very good players in it which underperformed hugely. getting the best out of those players is the key, though obviously the squad is looking a bit threadbare so 3 or 4 more signings would be good.

With the anxiety I already feel I know that this is going to be a loooooong season!:icon_sad:

Looks like Brighton have got Kazim-Richards.:icon_sad: :icon_sad: :(

Kazim-Richards agrees to Brighton move

18 year old forward Colin Kazim-Richards will sign for Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday.

The teenager rejected Bury's offer of a new 2 year deal in favour of a move up the football league and perhaps a preference for a club closer to his London roots.

Hitting form at the end of last season, Kazim-Richards impressed numerous clubs throughout the football league as he held down a place in the Shakers starting eleven. The likes of Charlton Athletic and Southampton had been rumoured to be keeping a close eye on the talented youngster who made his Bury debut in the 3-1 LDV Vans defeat at Stockport County last year.

The fee is likely to be decided by a tribunal and the transfer makes him the second Bury forward in six months to depart for a Championship club following David Nugent's move to Preston North End. The Shakers directors had rejected an offer for him from Leicester City earlier last season hoping that he would agree terms with the club. It is expected that Bury will receive more via the tribunal than they would have from the Foxes offer.

The club have replaced Kazim-Richards and Chris Porter, now with Oldham Athletic with MK Dons striker Allan Smart and Tom Youngs who signed yesterday from Leyton Orient.

Is he a full back highland or centre half? For some reason i had the impression he was a right back.

You won't be saying that when he scores 3 against us.

Reading between the lines we can't afford him:(

Or that we rate him but not at that price. :) ;)

Nobody knows what the price is Stevo, we can't afford to take the risk that its £250k IMO.

The boy is well known as being talented, we had him here, Craig liked the look of him, we tried to get him on the cheap but we simply can't afford him, sad times!

In truth I don't understand it, we clearly havent got 2 pennies to rub together yet last season we spent a million on players and we had all the high earners to pay too. We have cleared all the big earners off the wage bill, we still have the Sky parachute payment, we have had season ticket cash early this year too.:102:

Wheres the money gone?..........oh yeah sorry, Macestock:mad:
