Good and Bad

Good - i finish one hour early today because its Sinta Claus day, which is the dutch santa claus day for kids here in the Netherlands, also i got my new TV so i can finally take it home

Bad - everyone finishes at 4 and everything closes at 5 so i can't go shop for new bedroom and tables for my new place, i have to wait till tomorrow

Blimey, I'm glad I didn't read this report. This was written 5 days before I went to Japan in October (assuming the report is from this year).

However, one was spotted last week in one of the villages I frequent most days and I fly out tomorrow. Gonna have to get some bear wrestling practise in quick, so tonight I'm off round BG's house to stand near his wallet.

Very low indeed. Forgive me if it's too heavy for this forum, but I want to share...

The 17 year-old daughter of one of our technicians hanged herself last night. Mrs H visited the bereaved mother (who she knows well) at her house this evening. The parents had never had the slightest indication that anything was wrong.

We passed the local church this evening just after a mass for this girl. All the teenage girls outside were weeping into each others arms.

Everybody is devastated.

I feel very low too

Despite the euphoria of having our 2nd child 2 weeks ago, one of my closest friends was due to have his 1st child at the same time and sadly lost their baby whilst in labour earlier this week. I don't know how I would cope in such circumstances and just feel terrible for them :icon_cry:

Blimey guys, life really is a bag of shit sometimes.

Problem is, sometimes there is so much shit it becomes difficult to see through it, but there is always something the other side of it, always. The key is being strong enough to get through the shit, only then will you or your friends believe it.

I've known people in both those circumstances as have lots of us, they are proof that there is always a future.

In one situation one family is desperate for a new life and has it snatched away and in the other one it's been thrown away needlessly, it's always needlessly, but tell that to the person throwing it away, you can't. Both tragic.
