If Kelly goes...

To be honest i think Curbishley would come here if Mandaric could persuade him. He'd have good finances, a brilliant fan base and an excellent stadium, things that were limited at Charlton. He would take us up within 18 months and then he would be a Premiership manager again. He's the type of manager who works magic and i think he could take us beyond the point he took Charlton. Keegan would be OK but he's been far too inconsistant whilst Redknapp, although i think he would do well, is less experienced then Kelly

No chance

He'd have a team near, or at, the bottom of the league
A squad full of shite
Some money, but certainly not tens of millions
A fan base at the end of their tether and (I suspect) about to abandon the club in droves
And, therefore, a soulless half-filled stadium

If Curbishley waits long enough there will be much better options around the corner - probably in the Prem

Claudio Ranieri for Manager then. ;)

Meaningless stats, I'm afraid

Can hardly compare Ranieri's win percentage, considering what league's he has managed in, with that of Nigel Clough can you ??!!

Not really no. Ranieri would still be a good appointment though.

He played at no 11 in my first game. And scored the only goal to beat Man U.

Happy days.

Yes - whilst Froggart was primarily an international 'centre half' - I think he was capped for England at both that position - and left wing.

My recollection is that shortly after he came to Leicester - from Portsmouth, of course and towards the end of his career - we had injury problems at ' centre forward' (probably a knee injury to Derek Hines?) - and he played for some time very effectively in that position. He was a really excellent captain - leading by example.

As you say - "happy days" - very sad to see the state the club as sunk to now at all levels.
