Just to add grist to the rumour mill the 'Mail on Line' is reporting that negotiations are not concluded, however this could be about how the payment is paid rather than the amount.

Would prefer this to the Cambiasso deal as he's performed well at this level and should integrate quicker and easier with the team which is just what we need given the injuries.

Good move if we pull this off imo.

I think we will get both in, despite Hammond being heavily involved to date due to the injury situation, it is pretty obvious his role would be severely reduced once everyone is fit and given the interest from Reading and his former manager Nigel Adkins, I would not be surprised to see Hammond move on and secure himself the opportunity to play week in and week out.

The Herald Scotland reckon the McArthur deal will be done in time for the match against arse.
With a bit of luck, El Cuchu will arrive too.

Confused now - I thought I read that Whelan had accepted an offer, but now it's rejected?

Is this to do with us not wanting both of them? Maybe the fault is with us and not Wigan.

Or is it just the mechanics of our transfer deals?

Is he any good then? What are peoples thoughts?

But we are a credit in every aspect of the negotiations?

I feel a bit hurt and betrayed
