It doesn't even need editing to make it wrong FFS. You can admit you enjoyed my pics Lazz, it doesn't make you any less of a man.

Do people know which are the 2 or 3 'poshest' and most upmarket restaurants in:
a) Leicester
b) Out in the county (Leicestershire)
I need to know for business reasons - not for any 'snobbery' reasons(!)
Cheers if anyone can point those out...

Poachers Bistro -Thurlaston specialise in corporate (although the gaffer is a complete tool)
Cini's -Enderby also caters for business events and has meeting room facilities overnight rooms etc . Quality food

Not been myself but my son used to book The Case in town for business events. Dont know about the food supposed to be ok

I would also recommend the Boot Room -Millstone lane .

The Case and Cinis are both very good for business lunches/events

Hambleton Hall on the peninsula on Rutland water was always known as one of the poshest in the county - but I guess Rutland is no longer part of Leics.

I've only been there once but we had a waiter each - ie we were a party of 8 and 8 waiters approached simultaneously, stood behind the right person, and put their meal down at exactly the same time.

Just for info, the 'tool' at Poachers is no longer there...so worth giving it a go again now.

Agree with all above though.

Oooh interesting. The previous guy pissed me off as i was there at some 70's night and he was doing a "special offer " on wine (fecking mateus rose :icon_eek:) at £10 a bottle. Our table didnt want any (once he knew you didnt want wine he would ignore your table for the rest of the night)but the table next to us did. During the night as they got more pissed he was opening bottles when they were up dancing and filling very glass on the table (wether they wanted one or not) then leaving the empty bottle on the table. He shifted some stock that night. :icon_lol:

Another fan of his
