Went to Little India Friday night, superb as usual. In particular, my "Lamb Delight" (Chef's special) and the Bengal Bhaji (side) were excellent.

The Groupon really was a great deal.

All for £22.00. Lovely.

Casa Romana on Saturday, myself and the missus had been out since 2pm so stumbled in at around 9pm without booking. We've been a few times now so the staff are a bit warmer to us. Food was excellent, simple but well done. We even got a couple of free drinks at the end. The bike ride home was very wobbly.

Red Lion in welham - good food as always. Had the Superman mixed grill - it was nice but a bit too much on such a hot day. My bird had the Steak and ale pie which was lovely.
With 2 pints the bill came to under £20 - nice

Then I was indeed next to you, me, husband and elder daughter - we cycled there. How weird. Were you outside having a drink when we collected our bikes? I hope we didn't drive you out !!

Not really food but The Dog and Gun in Syston had a re-opening do tonight. Bit posher than the last time I was in there. Their Steaming Billy bitter wasn't anything special and it was a bit middle class for my tastes.
