I thought it was excellent to have it live again. So what if he didn't quite hit some of the notes.

I've got one you can borrow if you want to have a practice to see if you can do any better.

I always think that it is slightly odd for a team, known as the foxes (not the fox hunters) should play the Post Horn Gallop before a game: isn't it more of an incentive to the opposition?

Why would I try to play it, I don't want to learn how to play it either. He was paid to play that probably and he must claim he is good at it therefore he should of played it with no mistakes. It was dreadful.

You're a tough audience. He was good - it's not easy, especially infront of 28k people.

No one on the pitch today played with no mistakes.

On another non footballing matter, the current filbert Fox seems to enjoy himself. He sat with his head in his hands at one point today.

No, how can he say that Leeds were the better team? They were very effective and worked hard and looked dangerous and i would think that with Beckford in the side they would be a very good side.

Leicester shaded it IMO and looked good down the wings, i'm surprised at the criticism of Fryatt and Matock, Fryatt worked hard and Leeds defended like their lives depended on it. Mattock did quite well, wasn't outstanding but was not bad.

Overall a good blend of long balls to Howard, intricate passing, good old fashioned wing play and some inventive movement.

A really enjoyable game to watch.

All in all a very good display against a very good in form team that should get promoted on their current form.

.....Ian Holloway is a moron, said the game was lacking in goal mouth action, it clearly wasn't it just lacked goals...moron!

Why? The Post horn gallop is nothing to do with fox hunting?
The clues are all there in the title of the tune.

If he means that Leeds were crap and that they relied on set-pieces to create a goal then yes. He's just disguising that he decided to play 4-5-1 with 25 minutes left and then paid for it. They were pants and we deservely took victory. He had the odd lapse and they had a lad who could take a free-kick.

Liam Dickinson is one of the worst strikers I have seen.

Strange. Cos he was good against us for Hudds. Browny had him all day.

I hope he doesn't piss it all down the drain because he has potential to either become a very good player for us or earn us some decent coin.

Agreed. Hence the reason he's been my scapegoat recently. He's been very poor this second half of the season. You look at his motor and tattoo, it says a lot.

Very good team performance, we were up for it and got the rewards. I make it one point for promotion now? 98% there aren't we? I said 90 would be the figure.

Great day today. Absolutely euphoric at the end.

So proud of the players, Pearson and his team.

Thanks from me guys for turning things around at the club so quickly. :038::038::038:

I don't think Leeds deserved anything from the game. I thought overall we were better and fromthe start our players were so up for it today I never really thought it would beanything other tha a Leicester win..didn't think we'd have to wait til the end for the goal though!

But what a feckin goal that was! Can't think of any player who derserved to score it more than Howard this season.

It's goals like that which make it worth it being a football fan.

Overall I thought for a neutral watching, it was an entertaining game. Certainly the best we've played in a few weeks. Dyer was again MOTM for me, dropping him to the bench has done him some good imo. Brown again was a rock at the back, ably assisted by Hobbs, Mattock didn't do much wrong, but maybe a full season at his age is starting to wear on him. Morrison did an ok job filling in again at right back.

Oakley must've covered every blade of grass 10 times over today, and for a change I thought King had one of his better games, even putting his foot in a few times when it was needed. Gradel was a pain in Delph's side all game. Fryatt did better today than he has done in recent games, thought he pushed forward a lot and also tracked back, should've scored though with that chance imo.

Howard, well he's just been immense for us this season. Fryatt wouldn't have scored as many goals if not for the support work from him, and today he showed how important for us he's been this season.

As for the Leeds fans.......loved the song which went 'We are Leeds United, we'll never be defeated' mwahahahaha!

Tossers, the lot of ya!

He didn't do too badly - just a few dozen high notes he missed!

On another audio related matter, anyone know if the new extended 'Heroes in Blue and White' is available for free download?

You're there BF. It's the most we've been up for a game since Walsall away.

When Howard's goal went in, it meant every penny and time spent following us this season was worth it - redemption is nearly half-way complete (we need a decent season next year for us get complete redemption). I hope everyone has a cracking time in Southend and it's secured sooner than later.

Football, as supporters, is often all about opinions. I most certainly object to being called a BM by anyone, but DO rate Andy King. Funny, as so does NP (no one's played more minutes for us this season I believe?)....And what I do know is that NP knows more than me, who knows more than some on here....

Why worry about someone calling you a blue Mongie - it doesn't change what your - BM or not.

Was away for the weekend so watched the game on sky. Hollowface was on. He was saying he thought it was a bad game without much football being played, what a complete and utter cock.

For the last few years we have been dreadful in general when on sky but today was a really good game, even for the neutral. The fact that we won made it even more sweeter!!

Everyone played well today bar Matty who seemed off his game. Really like Browns composure and Dyer was excellent.

No surprise to see us winning again now that Kisnorbo is out of the team!

It's more at those who think it's reasonable their opinions somehow matter more? Really confuses me that, unless that person is a child of course - I totally expect a child to act that way..
