Don't be stupid.

It's comments like that which make me feel like giving up on human kind. How can anyone be so happy to look like a thick twat.

These are messages taken from another Leicester forum.

however i'm worried that at the moment we're relying too much on his goals - we're not in the championship yet would you feel confident about DJ or Dickov getting 22 goals in the second half of the season?

Almost exactly my thoughts, if Fryatt decides not to sign a new contract Milan has 2 choices, we can continue to play him until the end of the season and then wave goodbye (hopefully with promotion achieved) or take a small fee for letting him go in January, it would seem stupid to take the money if there are no better options available to take his place.

Considering he's the best finisher the club has had EVER , we'd be mad to let him go.

Sign him and we go up, sell him and we are ****ed.

Hmm I think you do rely on him a bit. But Leicester fans know more than me.

You do yourself no credit by quoting a post from a writer who clearly does not know what he is talking about. Leicester City will receive a fee for Fryatt if he leaves in the January window; Leicester City will receive a fee for Fryatt if he leaves in the summer. I am surprised that you did not realise that the whole premise of the post is false and that you failed to ignore it on that account as most City fans will have done.

I really must thank you for worrying so much about our little club when you clearly have so much more to concern you at your enormous one. I'm really going to miss your posts next season when presumably you will be on the F!"£$t message boards, telling them how best to run their club and get out of League One.

whilst every other team in the division is chasing us - including the mightyshites.

Fryatt is a striker it's his job to score the goals. he doesn't save many does he?

You should have been 7-8 points ahead if you are gonna sit back and prepare to lose Fryatt.
Having the best defence 'as some of you say' isn't just going to win you games next season. You need a good striker and I don't see that in Howard,Dickov or DJ.
The thing is Fryatt will leave a massive gap. You may not realise it now but if you look at your past results you will see for yourself that this man alone has saved you from a lot of stale draws this season. I never saw that coming from the other strikers mentioned above.

Well we will just see when Mr Warnock starts knocking and Fryatt's eyes light up. You have better pray Millwall MkDons Peterborough and Scunny slip up in the meantime.:081:

Our northern friend does not seem to have noticed that yesterday's results put more ground between Leicester City and a total of 23 other League One clubs. It's difficult to know how that can be improved on.

How many Leicester matches have you watched?

Fryatt is replaceable - he's no Frank Worthington. He has been the striker whose job it is to score goals, if it were Dickov or Thierry Henry then they would score goals too. I don't know if you noticed that Lloyd Dyer, andy King and others have also scored. 1:0 win in every match is more than enough, we don't need to win 3:0 to be champions.

We're moving away from the other teams - now 9 points above losing a playoff spot.

We're top and you know it.

It's only you who is suggesting that we are sitting back and preparing to lose Fryatt. And in case you haven't noticed, we are already NINE points ahead of Leeds United and that is the only thing that seems of relevance to me in this present discussion.

Perhaps he/she/it thinks it's better to sit 9pts behind the leaders and depend on a strong run in. That's 3 wins whilst the better team has 3 losses just to draw level isn't it?

Hardly moving away is it.?

Wasn't it only 5 weeks ago Scunthorpe were moving away from everybody else too, with actually a BIGGER gap?????

Funny how they are in 5th now.

Tell me you are pulling away when you ACTUALLY ARE pulling away and if you can't define that then look at Wolves in the championship as a prime example!!!:038:

Doubling our points advantage over the second-placed club seems to me to be moving away. How would you describe it?

I agree that we are still only one place above the second club. Perhaps that is what is confusing you.

How many times have to been top this season and then dropped again?

Surely you should have learnt by now.

Like I said, wait until you are 7-8 points clear then you can start talking.
The way it stands now, the top 2 places are far from being guaranteed.

He keeps rattling on about Fryatts goals and where we would be without them, but where would Leeds be without Beckfords efforts:102:. Probaly looking over at the relegation places.
For the record i'd sooner have a goalscorer that we can talk about rather than one who as bagged only half a dozen.

Btw Mrshites for such a big club what have you won in the last 10-15 years :102:................you've deluded yourselves that you are still a big club..........dream on.:icon_wink

Will you be talking about him when he's gone next month?

I havent bothered posting in reply to thewhites yet, but the whole debate is running around in circles.

At this moment of time if we lost Fryatt it would seem we would be at a disadvantage but who is to say DJ and Dickov cant take over as goalscorers.

I think Fryatt will leave in the window, but that still means he can get another hatrick on boxing day.

How anyone can come on here and say Leeds are better than Leicester on performance this season is bonkers. The table stands as it is, thewhites claimed a month or more ago that we would struggling in the playoffs at this point, this is clearly wrong.

We are top of the league due to one person scoring goals and having confidence but its the whole team that has pulled together, we are top of the league and we havent really started going yet.

Leicester > Leeds
