These are messages taken from another Leicester forum.
however i'm worried that at the moment we're relying too much on his goals - we're not in the championship yet would you feel confident about DJ or Dickov getting 22 goals in the second half of the season?
Almost exactly my thoughts, if Fryatt decides not to sign a new contract Milan has 2 choices, we can continue to play him until the end of the season and then wave goodbye (hopefully with promotion achieved) or take a small fee for letting him go in January, it would seem stupid to take the money if there are no better options available to take his place.
Considering he's the best finisher the club has had EVER , we'd be mad to let him go.
Sign him and we go up, sell him and we are ****ed.
Hmm I think you do rely on him a bit. But Leicester fans know more than me.
whilst every other team in the division is chasing us - including the mightyshites.
Fryatt is a striker it's his job to score the goals. he doesn't save many does he?

You should have been 7-8 points ahead if you are gonna sit back and prepare to lose Fryatt.
Having the best defence 'as some of you say' isn't just going to win you games next season. You need a good striker and I don't see that in Howard,Dickov or DJ.
The thing is Fryatt will leave a massive gap. You may not realise it now but if you look at your past results you will see for yourself that this man alone has saved you from a lot of stale draws this season. I never saw that coming from the other strikers mentioned above.
Well we will just see when Mr Warnock starts knocking and Fryatt's eyes light up. You have better pray Millwall MkDons Peterborough and Scunny slip up in the meantime.

Our northern friend does not seem to have noticed that yesterday's results put more ground between Leicester City and a total of 23 other League One clubs. It's difficult to know how that can be improved on.
Perhaps he/she/it thinks it's better to sit 9pts behind the leaders and depend on a strong run in. That's 3 wins whilst the better team has 3 losses just to draw level isn't it?

Hardly moving away is it.?
Doubling our points advantage over the second-placed club seems to me to be moving away. How would you describe it?
I agree that we are still only one place above the second club. Perhaps that is what is confusing you.
How many times have you been top this season and then dropped again?

Btw Mrshites for such a big club what have you won in the last 10-15 years
He keeps rattling on about Fryatts goals and where we would be without them, but where would Leeds be without Beckfords efforts. Probaly looking over at the relegation places.
For the record i'd sooner have a goalscorer that we can talk about rather than one who as bagged only half a dozen.
Btw Mrshites for such a big club what have you won in the last 10-15 years ................you've deluded yourselves that you are still a big club..........dream on.:icon_wink
Will you be talking about him when he's gone next month?
