Shite by all accounts.

But as Glyn pointed out earlier, we've played some big in form teams lately and 0-1 loss wouldn't have damaged our gd too much.

I think it was Mickey who said 4 wins is all we need but I think it's more like 5 or 6. The league is so tight that I can see a higher requirement to beat the drop. Anyone from 12th to 20th has a genuine chance to either stay up or go down.

On a positive note, it was my 10 year old niece's first match (an Arsenal fan) and she travelled with their support from London with her dad and saw a win so at least she's happy. Smug little bitch.

The confidence has been completely zapped out of them again.

24 games gone and we’re averaging 1 point a game. It’ll be iffy whether 38 points will be enough this season. Make no mistake, we’re in a relegation scrap which is scandalous given the players we have and how much we’re paying our manager.

Rodgers out.

Ward was useless. How many times did he get a cross into their box? How many tackes did he make? How many shots did he have? I don't remember him going forward at all.
Useless. We're never going to score with that kind of performance.

Yet another home game where I was bored shitless. Absolutely zero entertainment for the paying fan.

I don't believe even Rodgers knew what the feck his tactical nonsense was today. We were so disjointed between systems I felt really sorry for the players. They looked scared to do anything by instinct.

We're so over-coached sometimes. How different to the game against Spurs where it looked like Rodgers just went 'go and do what you like lads'.

Not only were we a terrible watch but so were Arsenal - diving, whining, feigning injuries, etc. And then the 'wankers wanker' Pawson poncing about the centre circle oblivious to anything going on unless an Arsenal player told him to give them a free kick. Loathsome referee.

Miserable afternoon.

This is a brilliant description. It's exactly what it felt like; as if we're trying to play about 8 systems at once. The problem is that all 8 of them were rubbish.

I think he’s the worst starting goalkeeper in the premier league. I’ve made that clear and we can leave it at that for the rest of the season.
There are nine keepers with more clean sheets. Nine.

None of those nine have had Daniel Amartey pretending to be a footballer in front of them either. Or Luke Thomas.

Did you enjoy the flap leading to the harshly chalked off goal?
There was nothing harsh about it and it wasn’t a flap. But don’t let that cloud your judgement.

It was actually a perfect example of what VAR is good for and should be used for. A foul that no referee could be reasonably expected to spot n real time.
