Taylor actually got the ball but he also got a massive part of waghorn. For me it was a free kick because the challenge was at waist height and could have been quite nasty.

The ref was terrible at times, i agree, but there was only one decision which was truly unforgivable and that's not giving a penalty for Andy Carroll's frigging obvious handball from the gallagher free kick that was clearly going in- i would have bet thousands that Harper was not getting to that.

Can we have a few more like that though please lads, brilliant stuff.

We seem to have fixed our TV nerves too which is lovely :icon_bigg

I had thought that maybe their legs got tangled but there didn't seem to be much of that. first time in ages we've had a player sent off at home too.

I slammed my fist down on the chair in front of me when the ref pulled his red card out and really hurt my hand, I don't do angry very well. :icon_lol:

53 days is ages?

Ooops my mistake. Waggy against Bristol wasn't it.

I'll rephrase what I said, It's the first time in ages we've had a player sent off at home when we were in a position to win the game and the sending off could have cost us a result.

Defo, it was reckless and he was lucky to get away with a yellow

It was indeed. He either was taken out by a sniper in the stands, or Wellens had hypnotised him to collapse in a heap when ever he touched him on the shoulder.

Agreed, we actually did well out of the ref's inconsistencies for that one.

Lots more please

I don't like you agreeing with me, it's scary........:icon_eek:

Why didn't their player get booked for his cynical challenge on Gallagher on the edge of the box, the inconsistencies were the worst thing about the ref.

Proud of Leicester for the first time in weeks yesterday, we made Newcastle look very ordinary and kept all of their top players like Nolan, Smith and Routledge very quiet until the final 15 when we obviously began to tire. Our back four looked very good, Brown showing what he is capable of and Hobbs being purely awesome. Berner at left back and was quality and Morrison was solid, the midfield coped well with going down to 10 and we had a couple of glimpses up top against their very strong defence, overall very pleased with yesterday well done LCFC!

We had a good game i thought. The lads seemed up for it especially after the sending off. The ref was one of the worse I have seen. Typical mentality when a big club is playing. Lots of very favourable decisions for Newcastle. I was very surprised that he actually carded one of their players.

It's always the same when we get a Premier League ref - they want to be the centre of attention.

I've never like Andre Mariner, I've had it in for him ever since he had a really crap game when we played Leeds a few years back. I've got a mate who refs in the Leicestershire leagues and I mentioned the other week that I think Mariner is a crap ref and he flatly denied it.

I text him after the game last night and said 'I told that Mariner is a ****'. He replied with, 'He's a fifa qualified referee and he got nothing wrong tonight, I don't know what you're on about'. Bleedin' idiot.

Anyone see the two women is SK1 yesterday who were absolutely hammered ?!?!

Dammit, that's only two blocks from me. I could have put some moves on if I'd known.:icon_roll

I think you may be confusing him with somebody else or thinking about some other opponent.

Mariner is the bloke who sent Sheehan off for 2 yellows against Crewe and gave Dabizas a straight red at Upton Park.
