I asked Sven about Ricardo v Weale, this was the day before the Portsmouth game mind you.

Me: Ricardo seems to have got some stick from the crowd lately.
Sven: Yeah, and I'm not sure why. I don't think he has been at fault for any of the goals, so it can't be due to that... He's missed a couple of crosses, so that might be the reason.
Me: Why do you prefer Ricardo?
Sven: It's a really close call but at the moment Ricardo gives me a bit more confidence than Weale.

Then of course Ricardo looked a bit off in the Portsmouth game and was dropped.

Sven is obviously aware of the crowd's reaction but I think I can quite safely say that he would NEVER make a decision under the influence of the crowd if it went against his own beliefs. That has always been Sven's main strength (and sometimes weakness) as a manager, that he would never give in.

Not a great day all round. Was in Mablethorpe the night before so had to travel by train from Grimsby Town station where the guy overcharged me for the ticket for the Lincoln/Leicester leg.

Then at Lincoln as I was looking at my phone 2 lads went past me cursing as I was in their way and then as they looked back said oh it's only a ****ing Leicester fan.
Just made it in time for the game only for it to be almost as crap as the Pompey game.Very disappointing!!

Then just to top it off whilst we were waiting for the bus to my mums a guy approaches us and says in a sarf London accent 'thanks for the point laaads':098:

Quick email to First TransPennine Express customer services should sort that one out.

Understandable. Certainly nowhere near as bad as repeatedly putting Brumah, Baumer, Abi etc despite being corrected every single time.

Abi Titmouse?

She leaves herself wide open most of the time

I've heard she gets taken round the back though

I miss Abi. Where's she been lately?

She was at my uni one night doing autographs and photos, but by the time I found out she'd finished for the night :(

I got the last laugh though when I found her outside and took her home caveman style.

Cheers Bob, the ticket collector on the train gave me a mini timetable with the customer services phone number on but as an email is free I think I'll use this email you've given me.

I think the reason the ticket guy in Grimsby overcharged me was because I asked for single tickets Grimsby to Lincoln and Lincoln to Leicester as this was cheaper than a single Grimsby to Leicester. He moaned that I'm not meant to buy 2 lots of tickets for one journey. I pointed out it was 2 separate journeys in any case as it wasn't a straight through train. So the buggar charged me for an anytime single (in the afternoon) when he should have taken for a cheap day single!

Extraordinary. I do this when travelling to Sheffield because it's cheaper to split at Derby (or at least it always used to be) and have never had this problem. I agree with Jeff. Presumably this bloke is overcharging other people too, so tell them.

There has been very little criticism on here of Weale letting in their goal.

It looked to me as if he should have stopped it but I was not in an ideal place to see.

Was anyone sitting behind the flight of the ball and did it move a lot in the air or was he just caught napping?

It was a pathetic attempt to try and save it. I too wasn't best placed but it looked by his reaction to have moved in the air . Having said that he had ample tIme to readjust. Weale is shite so is Ricardo bring back Logan .

Yep, it looked a pretty pathetic attempt to me too. The reaction of our defence said it all really. Two or three of them had a real go at him.
