Naughton & Davies both looked a class above everyone else. Extremely poor second half. Sven spotted twice during whole game on the touchline was disappointing and subs weren't very inspiring. 100% expect to see a proven goal scorer in this week.

Had we played the Sousa way today we'd have won by a very impressive scoreline IMO. We were very lackluster for the majority of the game.

:D bring Sousa back. Jesus Christ.

Hull's manager changed their formation in the first half, and that seemed to nullify our threat. That's what the Radio Humberside commentators said anyway.

I didn't notice a change of formation, I did notice how Koren went central and Garcia to the wing. Good management none the less. Pearson taking the applause and being the last off the pitch is the moment of my season so far. I just hope twatty Top and Pinocchio Mandaric seen it.

Gally is a waste of time. I count six shots and not one hit the target. He's had three good games for us

here here,totally agree with this

How about if we'd played the Holloway way? And what about the Megson way too?

What they got to do with anything :icon_conf

I just felt had we played the energetic attacking football Sousa was trying to impose then we'd have won.

At no point did I say I wanted him back :icon_roll

Energetic? QPR, Boro and Pompey were about as half arsed as I've ever seen in professional football.

You didn't go today?

Admittedly we weren't great in two of those games, I thought we did ok against Boro, just couldn't find the net.

I did go today, we looked comfortable in first half but didn't look too dangerous going forward. Same as Boro but we actually looked keen to push forward and RUN (something unique for performances this year) which I think we never looked like doing under Sousa.

Bruno, Naughton, Davies and Wellens were all good. Waghorn played like a twat. Weale made some decent stops. Hobbs wasted two free headers. Points not a bad result but we should have won.

It sounded from the commentary as though he was injured.

He looked injured when he went off.

Gallagher and Wellens continue to frustrate me. They do so much with the ball, particularly Wellens, and then either make some stupid short passes that put us in the shit, or keep shooting instead of passing.

Tbf, a lot of the time today Wellens couldn't play the through ball when he needed to, because Waghorn was being incredibly dozy today and kept standing in an offside position.

However, I agree with you that Wellens often puts us in danger when he tries to play his way needlessly out of trouble instead of just clearing the ball.

A lot of huffing and puffing without any clinical edge.

Can somebody tell Paul Gallagher that we are not Brazil.

As for the 2 new lads, excellent debuts...especially Curtis Davies

Says volumes that Sven has all ready noticed that we needed a R/B and a centre half and with other players on the way a Striker,a right-sided midfielder would not go a miss.

Disagree with those that said fitness wasn't an issue.

The players were obviously giving absolutely everything for a win and if anything they over did it first half.

They just aren't fit enough to do that and the entire team looked like they were running through treacle in the second half.

We've got the players - we just need to get them fit!

Davies was the best player on the pitch by a mile, made what we already have look incredibly poor & stupid. Hobbs looked back to himself, but I'd imagine that's only because he had someone putting in a world class performance next to him. Naughton looked really good too. Berner had a brilliant game too. The defence looked solid & it was always going to take such a fantastic strike to beat it, which is what happened.

Gallagher really frustrates me, me & my mate watch the shooting in the warm up as its on our near side & Gallagher's technique is absolutely unreal. When he gets into the game he can't pass the ball to a someone in blue.

Waghorn was no better & Wellens is irritating as well. You constantly think with Wellens 'SHOOT FOR ***** SAKE!' and he dinks it in the box & it comes to nothing.

More evidence today to suggest that Waghorn really needs a strike partner who can make runs into the box and take the pressure of him....most teams expect the ball to go to Howard and wait for the flick-on, by this time the covering defender and centre half have stopped 'Waggy' in his tracks..he always seems to be chasing shadows.

This was a concern last season and until we sign that target man with a bit of pace and power then nothing will change.
