What a great game that was,it was so frenetic you could not take your eyes of the game for one second,talk about end to end stuff,could have gone either way...just glad it went ours.

Interesting how different opinions can be.

I thought it was very scrappy, spoiled by a ref who was very late in his decision making and missed a lot off the ball. Completely devoid of any quality.

WTF was Oakley attempting with that chance....

Bamba MoM by a country mile - outstanding for the first goal, defended well all game and barnstorming last 20 mins. £250k bargain.

Made his fair share of mistakes too. On balance he was OK but let's not think that he was totally faultless last night.

I have never understood that, rushing out so you can get to the front of a queue thats going nowhere for at least 25 mins after the match.

Indeed, folk complain that we were unable to win games where we had to put in a bit of fight. Bristol came out second half (after being useless in the first) with a midfield that wouldn't let us piss about with the ball and it almost worked for them. Thought the Bambi and Mee did well at the back, especially when you consider we had no midfield to protect them.

With the Cardiff game coming up, I think a hard fought 2 - 1 against Bristol will do us more good than winnning comfortably 3 or 4 - 0.

Could be a very good point.

That's the fascinating thing on here - just how different opinions can be.

I too thought the game was scrappy with lots of misplaced and mistimed passes by us but also thought the ref had a very good game!
