I went to the game last night, thought we played brillliantly first 20-25 mins then when they scored they were all over us, Dyer and Howard made the impact for the goal. Naughton, Wellens, Gally, Abe all had decent games, didn't think much of Davies.

I may have read this in World Soccer, and perhaps evidence can be posted by someone in a better position to do so, but I think the World Cup stats show that one of every 60 or so corners resulted in a goal. Why people get so excited about them is beyond me.

This site probably has all the information to work out how many goals have been scored from corners in the championship so far this season.....

Hobbs spent most of the time passing the ball sideways or backwards. If he is unable yet to pass the ball more than five yards accurately, it obviously needs working on, but it is a weakness when Hobbs is playing.

Also I did not notice Fryatt make any significant contribution.

All of the back four passed it sideways and backwards. Davies equally but he gets no shit cos he's the new messiah apparently.

Failing to see the point in the constant dig at Fryatt. The service was so poor in the second half, you'd could have had Messi and Drogba up there but if the ball doesn't get near them, they won't score.

I went to the game and to be honest i think this was a poor performance over all. We started so well too, a great shot from waghorn in the first few minutes ,a great free kick from gallagher, and then we lost the plot ,Hobbs to me has lost his confidence, vassell seemed to be out of position to recieve the ball. overall we lost the midfield.
such a shame we never got it together, i hope we can learn from the mistakes. for Derby on saturday.
and for all that the city will be on my coupon for a win on saturday.
COME ON LEICESTER.

Vassell was nackered after his lively opening 10 minutes. Either that or he got very lazy.

On a more important subject, the pies last night were top notch. Flaky lids and soft bottoms (oo er!). Better than the over-heated shite usually served up.

We were upstairs last night from B3 on a £5 upgrade in the Great Hall. Same pies, nice as you described, but also chips which tasted brilliant.

Now if they are not allowed to cook chips downstairs, why can't they cook them upstairs and just take them downstairs to the hot cabinets?

Feck the team. Lets get some decent food sorted out for the ordinary fans.

Has your spill-chucker made unrequested changes to this sentence? If not, what is it that you are trying to say?

The only thing I neglected to expand on was perhaps my idea of what the end result should be.

What part of what I wrote didn't you understand?

Jeez you're in a right ****ing argumentative mood today Boc!

I think we must understand the meaning of the word 'wherewithal' differently.

No, I'm not.

Well who then?

FFS you don't like thinking on your own do you. Pick a face out of the remaining 9 on the pitch, or as already mentioned the Japanese lad.

Now if you cannot make your mind up, have horlicks to go to bed with

my observations:
i dont think Hobbs was as bad as most are saying, not at his best but obviously lacking in confidence
Davies has obvious class but i exppected a more dominant powerfull performance
i thought Vassell looked very quick (even tho lacking match fitness) and will become a great assett
IMO we lost the midfield after a good start and looked poor up front (waggy should be getting more stick than Hobbs)
Im sure Sven has us moving in the right direction and a win and good performance saturday will erase this performance from the memory and might even become a good point gained
