I totally agree with you on this. Some players just aren't good enough and never have been. Others, I think, had such an appalling experience under Rodgers they can't wait to get out as their experience with the club is tainted beyond repair.

I don't think we will see too many others leaving. Castagne is probably one that might go but the price would have to be right. Iheanacho might be another but any expectation of us shifting a bucket load before the window shuts need to be tempered.
Some players like Ndidi were absolutely brilliant but have for whatever reason lost his way, it would be a shame if he ran his contract down and left on a free, it's more down to how much of a shambles the hierarchy have ran the club.
There was rumours of Iheanacho to Everton and Castagne to Juventus.

I'm not moaning and groaning about not shifting players out and I'm certainly not mad about it.

I just said we have plenty of players that we need to move on and it will take time to do this or words to that effect. Apologies if my post wasn't worded in the way I meant.

I'm moaning about it....not so much on here at the moment but I am moaning about it quite a bit. There's loads need shifting asap and unfortunately it's unrealistic to expect queues to be forming to buy the likes of Ndidi who used to be decent and are on shitloads. Time will tell but I can't see throwing a rookie Pep in to oversee the transition working. It'll be cracking if somehow we pass the ball sideways endlessly to get out of the league with players who can't pass the ball. I'll be content with a safe but not very interesting season while we wait for more of the dross to leave.

I think we may have strayed a little off topic :)

Start of a new era - that’s just the way it is. I’m clearly glass half full with regards to following City. That’s because it’s a great part of life - following your team through good and bad times.

For the record I think we’ll have an entertaining 2-2 draw on Sunday. I’m sure many of you will think my comments are not those of a true fan and/or lack any true passion about the club, team and situation. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m just looking forward to the season with some perspective. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - let’s enjoy it. No need to be falling out :)

Ps - I fancy Albrighton to score - whether he starts or not. Enjoy guys

Exactly. It’s a massive disappointment we didn’t build on our biggest success, but we can’t go back. I’m just going to try to enjoy the ride.

I've no clue whatsoever about how we will line up or how we will do. I'll also wait a few games and until the transfer window closes before making any real judgements about anything.
I have to say that's a very commendable level of honesty. Most unusual in the modern game. I'm impressed.

Also, thanks for taking the time to post on here. You didn't have to do that.

Good luck Mr Maresca.

2-2 feels oddly likely.

Cov lost 4-0 in a friendly tonight Vs Nuneaton.

Leroy Lita scored.

Surprisingly, he's only 2 years older than Jamie Vardy.

Wonder if some of their fans are having a nuclear meltdown too?

I've seen Lita play against Coalville for at least 4 different clubs

King was the tits in his prime

I remember a home game in 2009/10 where he scored twice in the first half so we were 2-0 up against Coventry at half-time. He was incredible back then. Sadly it ended 2-2.

When was that Coventry game where their keeper turned up without a kit and had to borrow one of ours. I remember someone scoring a header to win. Might have been Brian Deane.

October 2002. Taggart and Deane scored. Won 2-1
