we aren't in the bloody championship so I don't give a **** how good he was there! he started last season well and was the best player in the team at the time, but that's like saying someone is the tallest midget, but fell apart from the moment he played that back pass against WBA and NEVER got over it mentally, if his injury was as bad as you are hinting at he should have stopped playing and got it fixed because he was ****ing useless playing with it.
for the supposed heartbeat of the team he gets precious few assists and rarely ever scores, I mention that as people keep saying he is the creative player.
simply put there has been more flow to our football in the first 2 games then at any point last season including during his peak of form.
Danny Drinkwater is a fine footballer but people need to stop making him out to be irreplaceable because he isn't, frankly we have already replaced him.
and if we were being linked to him when he was playing for WBA or Stoke for the fee being talked about people crying over the prospect of him leaving would be raging over the talk of the fee for a pretty average player
