Drinkwater is overrated by our fans who cannot accept he's only had 1 good season in the prem
Presumably you think he's overrated by Conte and Chelsea then?

James isn't anywhere near DD's level. I've been a critic of Drinkwater for drifting in and out of games too much but he is the best CM we have by a very very long way.

Danny Murphy has the intellectual capacity of a grape, the thoughtfulness of Trump and the know how of an imbecile.

Drinkwater is our best central midfielder. He started last season as one of best players and then picked up an injury. To help the side he played the rest of the season with the injury. In our premiership winning season he was incredible. If we get him back fit with confidence he will be a superb player.
he went to absolute shit from the moment Matt Phillips scored from that back pass, the injury came much later and has become a convenient excuse, if it was hampering him that much he should have got the injury sorted once and for all as it was doing nothing top help us bny him playing that poorly

yes he is, if he hadn't played with Kante and wasn't "home grown" something chelsea are short of they wouldn't touch him

Have you really forgotten just how outstanding he was during the league winning season? I mean, really?

I have been one of his biggest critics of late but I can at least appreciate what a fantastic player he can be.... as could the England management team.... as could all of the pundits who were criticising the decision not to take him to a major tournament.... as could lots of non Leicester supporting England fans who wanted him included in the squad.... as can the manager outlast year's champions....

Are you sure you think he's massively overrated. Really think about it.....

HE HAS HAD ONE GOOD SEASON!

have you forgotten that Esteban Cambiasso, Matty James and Andy King kept him out of the side the season before that, and it wasn't a tough decision to leave him out as he was crap.

2 seasons ago he was brilliant but that was the exception not the rule, same with Wes.

The same England manager that gave him his caps also took an unfit Jack Wilshire to the euro's and not Drinkwater, this is the worst crop of CM's England have had in decades.

Drinkwater is our best central midfielder.

Of course he is

Anyone believing Matty James or Andy King is an upgrade on Drinkwater is, quite simply, feckn' stupid

If he goes and we don't find a very, very good replacement, we are truly beggared

He's forgotten how to pass forwards, which is **** all to do with a made up injury.

Total horseshit. He was outstanding when we won the championship. He was incredible when we won the league. He was very good for at least a third of last season.

we aren't in the bloody championship so I don't give a **** how good he was there! he started last season well and was the best player in the team at the time, but that's like saying someone is the tallest midget, but fell apart from the moment he played that back pass against WBA and NEVER got over it mentally, if his injury was as bad as you are hinting at he should have stopped playing and got it fixed because he was ****ing useless playing with it.

for the supposed heartbeat of the team he gets precious few assists and rarely ever scores, I mention that as people keep saying he is the creative player.

simply put there has been more flow to our football in the first 2 games then at any point last season including during his peak of form.

Danny Drinkwater is a fine footballer but people need to stop making him out to be irreplaceable because he isn't, frankly we have already replaced him.

and if we were being linked to him when he was playing for WBA or Stoke for the fee being talked about people crying over the prospect of him leaving would be raging over the talk of the fee for a pretty average player

Football is a game of opinions. I believe yours is wrong.

What a twat Danny Murphy is. 'Too good for Leicester' and yet we're constantly having to fend of interest from 'bigger clubs' for several of our players in Vardy, Mahrez, Schmeichel, Drinkwater.
