And you don't have to read it if you don't wish. Although I daresay some people on this chatroom have had a lot more to say on this topic than I have.

i,l always be interested to find out what exactly happened, and i think syd has some valid points.

I also suggest that some people look up the word 'forum'. It could be a useful exercise.

Forum or chatroom? Make your mind up :icon_lol:

Well I agree personally, and I suspect that the majority of what people have said regarding Allen on here is rubbish. Certainly Ian Holloway didn't seem to think he was a cocaine addict when he wrote about his unjust dismissal a couple of months ago.

However it's a mystery to me why people choose to 'remove' posts - such as the previous one - which question the nature of the more senior posters, when some of these people are clearly too rude to engage in a serious discussion, but would prefer to make libellous and offensive allegations against people without being in the slightest interested in backing them up.

I'm not a 'chav from Foxestalk' or any of the other 'enemies' that the people on this forum refer to. I asked a question, can you answer it or not? But if you object to me articulately justifying my previous post and explaining why it's relevant, than this is clearly the most Orwellian forum I've ever come across.

I daresay you'll be cutting this too. At times I fear that Leicester fans deserve what they get in life - being, as a collective, unusually fickle and unintelligent for even football fans. Always more willing to tell each other to shut up than to actually make any noise.

Once again I will reiterate, however, that people would be well advised to steer clear from making these sorts of claims about people like Martin Allen unless they are willing to support them. And until the day we know exactly what happened and why, this will be a very valid topic for discussion.

What colour is the sky on your planet?

Everything that has been posted on Allen here is complete rubbish, nobody has a f*cking clue what happened, & even less people care.

You are the only one continuing to make unfounded claims that you're unable to support.
Why not leave it & let us move on, it's boring now.

Well if we're going to descend into this sort of pedantry, which is why I never bother looking at Foxestalk - and all as a consequence of having asked a reasonable question - then take a look in your bloody dictionary. A chatroom is a type of forum. It's like people who say tannoy instead of speaker system.

Macky there is your answer he agrees with you. :icon_wink

Which posts were removed? :102:

And of course no-one cares about Allen anymore. No-one at all. Totally irrelevant. Quite right. Debate over. Simple as.

My lord you must have some exhilerating discussions. I asked a question, you answer it or you don't. If you know something, say what it is, if you don't, then don't. But don't insult me and then, having done that, delete my post when I object to being insulted.

And before I go, I think there's plenty of evidence to suggest that Martin Allen is still very interesting to Leicester fans.

The only question that you asked was:

where did these stories come from?

The answer to that is, people make them up. End of.

Are you going to put the toys back into your pram now?

I agree that speculating over Allen is now a largely uninteresting topic. Events have moved on, to say the least & I've not thought about it anymore.

However I am not of the view that your (Syd's) post should get a hostile reception. For what it's worth (nothing) as it is pure conjecture (nobody knows as Macky & others rightly say) I don't believe the cocaine stories at all. Allen was quoted in Leic Merc as saying footballers should 'live like monks'. He had a strong work ethic and promoted things like having a stable and clean-living family background as being important.

This is totally inconsistent with the drug useage allegations. And you would think that if he was caught doing this as stated by Syd I think that MM would just sack him outright (like LCFC sacked Dennis Wise for gross misconduct) and avoid the need for compensation - plus avoid bad press for sacking a manager after just a few weeks for no apparent reason.

What is much more in character & I am inclined to believe is that Allen maybe hit or grabbed/man-handled a player(s) - but I doubt he did so at half time at the Forest game and that Clark was the victim. If this did produce the rumoured transfer requests from one or two players then you would understand MM's alarm. But this is all now very much in the past and I don't think I'll be joining in again on this topic.

I have checked carefully - no post has been deleted from this thread; neither by the forum owner, nor by any moderator, nor by the poster. Up to the time of your post to which I am replying, only two messages had been edited; both by the poster of the message. No post has been edited by the forum owner or any moderator.

You are clearly demented.

Haven't got a clue, does the software log things like that?

I would imagine it probably does seeing as how it's Orwellian software apparently.

Moderators can see deleted messages. They can also see when messages have been edited, although not what was edited (in or out).

See my post above.

MA2 knew he was leaving at the Watford game which never happened.
I'm glad the tosser left, never was happy with his appointment. He was a total clown.
