I read a report that said he received £32 million for the second half of Portsmouth - so I'm assuming he received the same for the first half, hence my comment about him having a lot more money than the £25 million he's been reported to have for us.

Well he's now got three million quid less than he did have, hasn't he ?

Poor bloke, I don't know how he'll manage. Maybe we should get the buckets out and have a collection for him before Saturday's match.

The point is that it's money that he does not now have available to invest in the team :icon_roll

Who said he was going to invest it in the team. He was never going to put his last penny in to the club - it's £3 million less sitting in his bank account. As a successful businessman his first offer was never meant to be the clincher. It just means he will have made £3 million less profit when he flogs us off - I shan't shed too many tears for him.

But he's got more money than he should need to put into the team if his ambition is just to get us into the Premiership, which seems to be the case based on what he's said to the media..

If he lends us £20 million to spend on players that should be more than enough if he's as good at his job as people think he is.

Or do you think that's not enough?

How much debt do you want us to get into?

If MM was 50 years old instead of 68 I'd be alot more worried.

Hopefully he has a fair amount of dosh to keep him in a decent life for the rest of his days and dos,nt have to be a hard nose businees man.

What I think leicester offers him that Portsmouth did'nt is.... a Premiership ground, excellent training facilities, one of the best acadamies, fan base of
1m+, supporters without large foreheads and Showaddywaddy (wonder if anyones told him we can't hold gigs yet?)

Now you are speculating. To be fair none of us knows the precise details of any deal so we should take the whole thing with a pinch of salt before needlessly speculating.

the board have said they will seek assurances over the future of the club. That is the only thing we actually do know.

Greedy bastards, they have got what they wanted, now feck off, don't waste 2 more weeks of our lives wondering what you gluttons are gonna do.

"It's not about the money", well if you accept this increased offer then it is about the money. If you don't, then it's about ego, or money down the line.

You can't win so feck off now, it's not about Leicester city and it never has been.

This is aimed at the board, not the shareholders

£3 million,

You have got to give him credit for trying, when and if he's involved in buying players we should be the winners.

When Peter Taylor was asked why he spent £5+ mill on Badbuy he said
" their Chairman assured me he was worth it" the rest is history

Should we all not put the champagne on ice until this signed, sealed and delivered.I seem to remember a certain amount of hysteria this time last week...followed by posts and posts of despair.

But that's what you enjoy, HF

I for one am delighted that Pukka Pies, Hammond Grange, Greg Clarke, Trevor Bennett etc have all got their money safely back in their pockets

The poor mites must have been down to their last fifty million.

I heard some of them had even been seen down Kwik-Save........

Hope they were properly trained
