Make sense to me. If the manager you want isn't available yet, or if you're not sure then you can't hire him.

End of June wouldn't even be a problem for me, especially if we get the right man.

IH won't be doing anything in the next 2 or 3 weeks that would make a difference to his inadequacy anyway - even the Steve Walsh coaching course.

We should be happy that MM is thinking this one through instead of knee jerk reactions.

Holloway has pissed him off big time. Clearly he wants him out and he wants time to think.

Let the fcuker squirm I say.

There's nothing for him to squirm about. He now knows he is finished - all he has to do is to wait for his pay-out.

Brown - Hull Behave yourself
Johnson - Brizzle City Not a feckin' hope in hell

MacAllister - Leeds No way
Ward - Carlisle No chance
Tinson - Southend Why would he ?
O'Driscoll - Donny Not an earthly

Penny - Darlo Possible, but doubt it
Lambert - Wycombe No thanks
Gannon - Stockport No thanks
Hill - Rochdale No thanks

Could be a foreign coach or at least someone coaching abroad.

Sure he's got lots of gardening to do - he's done it before as a result of LCFC's utter incompetence, after all......

Very true - and plenty of time to get packed up.

We have hardly got those options though.

True, but O'neill was a lower league manager too once we have to find someone like that. Like Little was too.

Ok i know it hasn't work in regards to allen and taylor, but it has to be someone who has been conststant for a few year and maybe more than one club. Someone like Dave Penney or Tilson?

I think he planning to get a national coach who is going to resign after the euro and annouce it before the Euro which will give MM the time to sack and hire a new manager ;)

Or

Maybe the manager he wants is on hoilday and is not back till June

Swansea got a foriegn manager and he has done a good job for them so MM might be thinking of a Forgien Import waiting for all the leagues to finish

Or He has'nt got a fecking clue what to do next, and is scrambling about to buy himself more time !!!

Fecking farcical. Either back him or sack him but FFS make a decision. What a shambles no wonder we got relegated.

He might be, but it won't be a national coach of a team playing in Euro 2008.

And besides, Martinez is a former Swan and was playing for Chester at the time.

I still reckon we will end up with Steve McLaren if anyone. :icon_cry:

Ince falls into this category now too doesn't he? (Just). Although he also probably fits into the 'no chance' category also.

Why do you all want MM to rush his decision? Surely you have your stability until he does.

I reckon MM will stand down as chairman on June 2nd but retain ownership of the club hence his careful comments.

His personal circumstances are well known and he is wholly aware of the hopeless mismanagement of the club this season more than anyone and his own culpability in the sorry mess we are now in.

Mandaric surely needs to take a step back and concentrate on his legal situation and health . My guess is Aldridge will be offered a new overseeing role concentrating on the daily affairs of running the club.

In any case this appears to make IH's position untenable and I feel after this statement he will surely go. No comment from Holloway expected.
