Well, at makes perfect sense. "I can't get in to the Leicester side, but I'm sure I'll be able to force out Coutinho or Son.

I'm sure we've all worked with people like Gray, who appear to have a bizarrely inflated opinion about their own ability.

Last season, he was not as good as Mahrez or Albrighton. They'd both earned the right to be considered first choices and whenever he had an opportunity, he proved to be less effective than either of them. There cannot be any real argument about that unless you have a bizarre and irrational agenda to slag off Mahrez for daring to be above-ordinary rather than sensational.

If Mahrez leaves, I expect us to change our formation or style rather than just shoe horn Gray into his position. Otherwise, we're simply opting to get worse. Surely we learnt that lesson with bringing in Mendy for Kante last summer?

Gray is a bench player until he proves himself to be better than that. No manager is going to choose not to play their better players. If he can't take that reality then we should sell him.

He may as well sit on the bench of a European playing elite team who give youth a chance as sit on the bench for a middle of the table/relegation battling team who don't. Plus he'll get an immediate salary rise, at Leicester he'll only get that if he refuses to play and doesn't play for a season.

Weren't you defending Ulloa? Even saying that he should get a pay rise.

At least I'm not the only one who can make contradictory points.

I would have sold Ulloa last summer with grateful thanks for two years excellent service. Keeping him last season was poor from us.

However, you cannot compare Ulloa with Gray in terms of their contribution to the club. Ulloa has earned the affection and respect of any reasonable fan. Gray has not.

We're comparing them for their attitude to not being selected. Ulloa was far worse.

I too would have sold Ulloa at the end of the title winning season with affection and respect.

He lost all that when he tried to get shipped out in the middle of last season, causing problems and refusing to play or train with us. I'll never play for Leicester again.

I certainly wouldn't increase his salary and give him an extended contract this season.

No idea of the accuracy of this piece, but the bit about positioning is extremely interesting

"As exclusively reported by this portal, the forward has been promised a new role by Leicester City coach Craig Shakespeare, who plans to play the forward in his favourite position behind the main striker."

I must admit, I haven't had time to check Nigeria News yet today. Thanks for looking for me, homey :023:

So we don not give youth a chance????

Clearly not.

We won't play Chilwell over Fuchs.

of course we could play Manure youth team players.

Spot on.

We won't play Chilwell over Fuchs because he isn't as good as Fuchs. That's a rather simple thing to understand, isn't it?
he is as good as Fuchs now though, Fuchs has regressed far more than people will admit, through fear of playing youth, also by playing Chilwell he will get much better much quicker

I would say that Fuch's at his best remains a better player than Chilwell at his best. Chilwell makes too many defensive errors.

However, if we were to play wing backs, I'd pick Chilwell over Fuchs every time.
