Weird one:

"Leicester City are winning the race to sign £2million rated former Coleshill Town winger Marvin Johnson.

Johnson, 26, is currently playing for Oxford United but, according to the Sun, Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare is closing in on signing him.

Johnson has in been watched by Everton and Liverpool in the past while Aston Villa, Wolves and West Bromwich Albion have also recently been linked.

But the Sun claims the Foxes lead the race, especially now Johnson's ex-boss Michael Appleton has joined the coaching staff at the King Power Stadium."

2 main things for me...if you're buying him you're unlikely to be looking at his defensive qualities. Also, his assists from open play are dependent on his teams strengths and not just his own. They're a shower of shite and it's not surprising goals come from set pieces as most of the Swansea team would be hard pushed to string 4 or 5 passes together.

Leicester City are facing the prospect of last summer's six major signings leaving the club.

They spent more than £60 million on Islam Slimani, Ahmed Musa, Nampalys Mendy, Ron-Robert Zieler and Bartosz Kapustka, but Leicester could offload them all as they streamline Craig Shakespeare's squad.

Odd wording to say "facing the prospect" which implies it is something being done to us, whilst the headline is clear we're aiming to offload them. Or perhaps it's just me.

Its pretty obvious that he's made it clear to those that matter that he's not interested in us.
Absolutely. Given that he has only done reasonably well at Swansea and achieved nothing at Spurs, I don't see what the fuss is about. We (and Everton) could do better looking elsewhere, especially at that price.
