Zieler is headed to Stuttgart. 4m.

£3.5M, according to the Mockery
They cut the price when they realised it was their women's team he was joining.

"World Cup winner Zieler is due to undergo a medical at the Bundesliga club as her prepares for a return to Germany."

I suppose the medical is a gender change operation coveret by the last 0,5m

Yeah, well, that's easy for you to say........

40 million, 50 million, who gives a shit

Just feckin sign him
Absolutely. If they've put that price tag on him, pay it and get the deal done quickly so that we can move on. Losing out on a player for the sake of sticking to your financial guns when, in reality, there is no need real to would be idiotic. We did it last year with Keane by all accounts and that was costly.

Most of it is Sky's money - we are just redistributing it.

I'm sure we could get Mccarthy for £50m too. Perhaps we should just go ahead and do it.

Sigurdsson isn't worth £50m to us.

Agreed. Amazed by how many people think we should just pay it...

Football transfer fees have gone mad (yet again), but not that mad.

Sure there's cheaper alternatives. If we just paid every time then it sets a precedent in future - and if we go down again any time soon then admin beckons. Fees need to be justified still.

James Rodriguez has gone to Bayern on loan, and they need to pay £32m to make the transfer permanent. Surely puts some perspective to this...

In the Bundesliga

Which is why I'm saying there are cheaper alternatives - look abroad.

Yes they might still jump up the price when a Prem team comes knocking, but Prem team to Prem team is going to cost more because both sides have cash to burn so 1, they know they can ask for more and 2, they don't need to sell.
