Stephen Clemence has been sacked by Gillingham after 6 months in charge and missing out on the play offs

Vicente ‘The Hunk’ Iborra’s Olympiacos are 2-0 up at Villa Park.

Chelsea v Spurs
Madderz on for Spurs - made bugger all difference
Casedi on Chelsea - also had bugger all impact.

We don't miss either of them

A true legend alongside the likes of Vardy and Fuchs.

More than that though, an absolute gentleman. I love the guy and his ethos.

Happy retirement Kingy.

Another player I absolutely love. True Legend of the club.

I always maintain that we did wrong by him converting him to a more "complete" midfielder.

He had such a terrific eye for a goal and making late runs into the box. I think he could have done even more had we converted him to a number 10.

Look at some of these finishes:

Early in his career when he played that number 10 role, particularly under Sven from what I remember, he seemed to me like he could be a Lampard type, with his biggest skill his timed runs into the box.

It's not really a modern 10 role. He isn't skillful enough for that, and I think his role was transitioned because that role has already stated to adapt in style.

But I agree, that was his biggest attribute and he got moved away from it.
