I thought the reason he left was because he wasnt getting enough money there..

Re: Managers with names in the hat not on same level as sven

Welcome in Big Mac, it's ok here really.

Re: Managers with names in the hat not on same level as sven

We had the biggest squanderer of money ever in the history of football. Spent more money on crap players than anyone one else before or since, Peter the 'complete and utter imbecile' Taylor, but maybe I am being kind, I didn't swear at all, however I would gladly wring his scrawny neck with infinate pleasure. Davis doesn't come close for being a so called spendthrift.

He's probably slumming it with Joe Royal, Glenn Hoddle, Terry Venables, Howard Wilkinson, Trevor Francis, George Graham, David Pleat, Graham Taylor, David O'Leary and all the other big name managers in the 90s who seem to have disappeared off the face of the managerial earth.

Some wishful thinking going on here PR?

Brian Little was on Talksport today.
The manager that started the 90's off so well.
He was saying that when he came to City from a good spell at lowly Darlington, he felt invincible as a manager and the enthusiasm certainly carried over to his troops.
This makes me think that if MON doesn't happen, then Lee Clark may not be such a gamble.
With the talk of KK upstairs for guidance, it surely whetts the whistle.

Keegan has a face I would like to slap, just to get rid of that stupid grin, that aside I cannot see his cavalier approach going down to well with the current owners. I know his teams scored goals, but they didn't half concede a few, and the balance was only just in his favour. Of course if your agenda includes getting rid of all supporters over the age of 45 via cardiac arrest then it could be a good appointment.

So? Give me a season full of 5:4 results and I'll be more than happy!

Rules out a player-manager role.

You can be a player at any age

His Newcastle side which won the second tier conceded just 38 goals in their 46 games, scoring 92. That's a GD of +54.

His ManCity side which won the second tier conceded 52 goals in their 46 games, scoring 108 goals! That's a GD of +56.

Doesn't sound like he conceded that many goals at this level in the past to me and his sides scored bucketloads!
