Bangkok Post linking us with O'Neill and Solskjaer suggesting we have been in talks with both. Would probably be happy with either of those, they reckon even at this early stage that Solskjaer will be managing Man U in the future. Bit premature to think that if you ask me but he's had a good start none the less.

Very interesting. This is the first quote I've seen from the Chairman and it's from today and it refers to MON as a 'current' candidate.

I really don't think the chances of him coming are dead. Him and the club being quiet about it whilst not dismissing it, is very promising. If there was a sequence of events that leads to him coming, I think what's happened so far fits perfectly. He was never going to walk into Sven's shoes within days. I also believe the person from Bentley's with a contact close to MON who said they've had two meetings with no known outcome.

As for OGS, interesting option. I've always liked him and thought he'd make a good manager and his early record is impressive.

Talk was of a meeting at the Belfrey and a follow up in London. Both meetings taking place after the sources quoting him to be not interested.
