Next Manager?

Mike Newell sacked, ashame really he is a top manager, and i think he can do the job for us, he has had no funds where do you expect your team to be, leicester city have had no funds most of this and last season and we have spent all season in or around the relagtion battle field,

I think with MM now in charge if he brings in Newell, and gives him the cash, mike will do well and leicester will do well, the best thing about newell is his temper you need that when your a manager and people like RK he is a softieee mike newell i'd like to see as the next leicester manager,

i know i wrote it in the mike newell part in the TB the pub but then i thought i might as well copy and paste on to here..lol...sorry if it has already been read on that, :)

i am inclined to agree, but i would worry that our young, unmotivated players that actually have some ability might loose too much confidence to recover. In the interests of our better players, a good run would hopefully give them belief for next season. However RK isn't capable of delivering such a run so its irrelivent.

PT had no record as a club manager, only as an assistant and england U21s.

i think he could get us promoted. after that boot him out if we start strugling in the prem.

The problem with your analysis is that it does not recognise the way that the Club has moved on. Albeit at the moment only MM and some fans realise this. ;)

We have a new set of criteria by which should judge ourselves and see how MM can live up to his words and to see if the Club can achieve the higher standards we should aspire to.

From your list I would like Keegan or van Gaal. ;)

I always remember during the Derby play-off final Keegan describing us as a great club with long tradition. I think the fans would ' luv it ' just ' luv it ' if he came here. Only problem though is that i've not heard any mention of him wanting to get back into football.

I think one of the problems is that RK is so hopeless that we are inclined to think get someone else in cos they are bound to be better than Kelly.

Newell would undoubtedly be better than Kelly - but it might be better to wait till the summer for a potentially wider choice.
