This is a great thread. Fact.
do you want to shag Nigel clough as well? :icon_lol:
Totally concur Spanky.
No, frankly I do not.....
The best thing for the medium term future of this club is to lose and play badly in as many games as possible until the end of the season, whilst avoiding the drop
The worst thing is to go on a good run to the end of the season that finishes us in the top half of the table
I just don't buy into this Newell thing. He's got a proven record in the lower division just like PT had when he came here. Similary like PT he has no experience in managment at that higher level. Ok, he had a decent season last year but so did Micky A but look what followed, including Cov. If we are going for another inexperienced manager at high level lets take a chance on someone very ambitious young'un like Clough. But in my opinion I would be looking at a higher level manager looking for a fresh challenge and ambitious enough to build a big premiership team & club. At the moment I don't see anyone but come the summer there might be a few who might consider the challenge whether they are in a job or not. I would like us to progress and get someone better than Newell who in all honesty hasn't proved himself at this level although he has coped with a shit board but that is something we haven't got now.
Mike Newell sacked, ashame really he is a top manager, and i think he can do the job for us, he has had no funds where do you expect your team to be, leicester city have had no funds most of this and last season and we have spent all season in or around the relagtion battle field,
I think with MM now in charge if he brings in Newell, and gives him the cash, mike will do well and leicester will do well, the best thing about newell is his temper you need that when your a manager and people like RK he is a softieee mike newell i'd like to see as the next leicester manager,
Including Mike Newell. Last season I think most of us would have snapped him up here in an instant - are we more luke warm now due to the current plight of Luton Town? If so, is he really to blame? Or are we filling our heads with Keegan/Redknapp nonsense? I'm amazed no one's mentioned Houlier yet, or Van Gaal...

I did think that last night.
You miseed Capello of your list when he gets the boot from Real Madrid :icon_lol:
Then there's always Sir Alex when he leaves Manure...
Get him in

The problem with your analysis is that it does not recognise the way that the Club has moved on. Albeit at the moment only MM and some fans realise this.
We have a new set of criteria by which should judge ourselves and see how MM can live up to his words and to see if the Club can achieve the higher standards we should aspire to.
From your list I would like Keegan or van Gaal.
