I don't believe we are looking to sign either but we will need another striker plus Maynard IMO.

I disagree. A winger and a full-back would be our main priorities after we get Maynard in. I'd be happy with our striking options once Maynard comes in.

It sounds to me that with Ball in the fold and if we can get Maynard, all the positions will be regarded as filled and covered. Anything after that will be optional rather than essential.

Right back?

Or are you assuming we get Vitor back?

I'm not assuming anything. Just passing on what I have been given to understand. I'm not going to go through the thing position by position; perhaps it is felt that certain positions can be covered by people for whom it would not be their normal position; perhaps something else.

Peltier is RB, cover would be handy but I agree with boc, not essential as we no doubt have CBs or players like Oakley who could cover that position if necessary. I think the only player we NEED is a forward/ out and out goalscorer. Anyone else, such as Routledge would be a bonus rather than a necessity. So for me it was a surprise when Andrew Neville said we were looking at another 3 or 4 players but I guess some may be 'plan B's'.

Maynard or Yak would be ideal.

I'd much rather have a natural RB as cover than a makeshift such as Matt Oakley.

I have also played right back, although Tommy Wright took my starting place after showing the gaffer how to plug a laptop into a swedish girl.

I have checked Bristol City fans forum, not a whisper on there about there being an agreement for Maynard transfer to Leicester or any other club.

someone on there does say they'd heard £5.35m deal accepted, 'to sign tomorrow' (today). It's all hear-say really until it's atleast supported by a real reputable source like Sky Sports.
