Spot on

The money is irrelevant - it's the quality of player that takes priority

Sooner one Nicky Maynard than a dozen shitehouse David Nugents

£6 million it is, then

Let's hoe new players don't read this forum eh?

If we are prepared to spend in the region of 5 million on a striker then why not slap a bid in for Celtic's Gary Hooper would represent a decent profit for Celtic and I am sure financially we could compete in terms of his wages. Proven at this level and is capable of playing in a number of different formations, fits with the age profile of the players SVen has been looking to bring in

I'm sure Sven knows what he's doing. Besides, Maynard has been scoring in real football all the time Hooper has been playing park football.

Latest update from foxestalk final offer of around 5.3m has been submitted which includes 3.5m up front, 1m after 30 appearances and the remainder when he has scored 20 goals

A rumour that has been posted on the Bristol City forum first.

Maybe they'll exchange the Yak for Maynard!

Everton need to offload ' The Yak', plus others before they start spending, the Yaks wages alone would pay for Maynard, they may be a Premiership side, but they do/are trying to balance their books.

Everton can't match us.

Everton haven't got a pot to piss in. Bill Kenwright has been trying to bring more money into the club for a long while now. They will have to sell before they can buy. However, whether they can afford better than they have is a different matter. Brizzle can't afford Yak's wages and he doesn't want to drop down to the championship.

I'd be utterly underwhelmed with Evans, would rather we took the gamble on someone like Jordan Rhodes who did well at a lower level last season.
