I'd be utterly underwhelmed with Evans, would rather we took the gamble on someone like Jordan Rhodes who did well at a lower level last season.

I really want this Maynard deal to go through now, though I still have a feeling it won't. I know we should reserve judgement before seeing them etc. but the other names linked just don't fill me with confidence.

edit: Just re-read that. I know I'm jumping ahead of myself and being unusually pessimistic, but I am rather excited about the prospect of Maynard.
