He's not played an awful lot but when he's been on he's been absolute quality

I don’t mind. Normally I’d want our players to be involved, but this season, with the amount of games we’ve got, in a compressed timescale, I’d rather our players got as much rest as possible.

We've proven with Barnes and Chilwell that it not an impediment being here. If he doesn't get in, it will be because of his form or, more likely, the fact that Southgate is a joke of a manager.

I've been convinced since the days of Keggy Keegle that the reason our international team is so crap is the lack of incentive/surfeit of xenophobia that stops our younger players improving by playing abroad, especially Germany. That's the theory, as admittedly I haven't the faintest idea who he is.
