my thoughts entirely Homer, if there is a possibility of getting Ince or someone of similar potential interested then any delay is justified...I also agree that Gregory's track record in recent years is abysmal..

Maybe with the assistance of Paul Aldridge this time the interview process will be more logical than instinctive.

MM has used the phrase "'due diligence" on a few occasions in the last week, did anyone hear him use the term before the previous failed appointments??

Depression induced by not having a National team in the Euros and with everyone at their club still on holiday and not releasing decent news.

I suspect the delay with Ince and Leicester (apart from the holiday) is the Ince camp waiting first to see if Blackburn make an approach. If Blackburn go for Shearer or McLaren then I think Ince will be unveiled as the Leicester manager. I suspect Grayson and especially Gregory are 2nd choice fall-backs for leicester by quite some margin.
