Im aware of one case in my experience where the woman has come off worse purely because the ex refuses sign himself off the sick for stress and is not paying his way. In all other cases the woman has always ended up better off. The classic was one of my drivers who's mrs was having affair whilst he was travelling the country. She left him and took 3/4 of everything. He couldnt afford to buy a new house so he bought a caravan out near Loughborough. A couple of years later he was in a bar in Coalville and in walked the ex. He bought her a drink for old times sake and they chatted about the old times. One thing lead to another and she stayed the night. Six months later she left with another bloke and got half the caravan.:icon_eek::icon_lol: He asked me if he could sleep in the warehouse :icon_conf poor bastard.
No they are not all the same just 99%:icon_wink

I'd have gave the half without the wheels, she would be fecked then

From my own experience, it seems that the nicer you are to people, the more you get shit upon.

I'm sick to the back teeth of it, but what do I do, get tougher, just for the sake of it, or continue to get walked all over?

Find someone nice like Melton, there's a man who knows how to treat a lady.

i guess it would be hard to suddenly turn into a bitch and stand up for yourself etc especially if youre not that sort of person to start with, you should do what you want to do to make your life easier for you and those closest to you

Not sure if it's been posted, but here is the full judgement ...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/18_03_08_mccartney_mills.pdf

I'm reading the judgment for academic reasons, and have the following observations.

This time last week, Mills was all for the judgment being made public.

Ms Mills is believed to favour the publicity that going to the Court of Appeal would give her, while Sir Paul has insisted that the price for his offer, believed to be in the region of £25 million, with generous annual payments, is complete confidentiality.

From The Times

Yet this morning, she had changed her tune. Two-thirds of the way through the judgment, I can see why. What a conniving, money-grabbing hag!

In my judgment it is unnecessary to go so far as to characterise what the wife attempted as fraudulent. However, it is not an episode that does her any credit whatsoever.

From paragraph 143.

This related to her demands that a mortgage was paid off, the money going into her bank account. It then turned into four loans, and then it came out that the property in question had been bought mortgage-free.

But she said that at the time of the e-mails referred to above she believed that there were loans secured on the property.

I'm afraid that I would have called it fraudulent...

Just reading point 3, who needs that many fecking houses!

I can understand 2 houses with one as a bolt hole, but she wants 7! Ridiculous

If you sell your body for money, surely you demand a lower fee if there are parts missing?
