Pearson to be sacked in the next 5 games?

Seriously, our owners are going to **** up our best start to a season in ages? Muppets of the highest order.

There's nothing solid to suggest that anything's happening at all, is there?

And another thing, why has NP got his Agent out and about talking up rumours that the owners have been speaking to HR? This is the only semi-official confirmation from any source that there is some mileage in the story. NP has initiated the growing speculation himself. Has anyone ever heard a peep from his Agent before? He's talked on instruction.

It's got feck all to do with NP who the owners talk to about his job or anyone else's. If he doesn't like it, and he clearly believes it's happened, then he should shut up or quit. He does himself no favours sometimes.

Feck off 'Arry. Pearson deserves a crack. Slowly turning things around, we will get promoted under him even if it is not necessarily this year. Have a bit of patience.

Just have this feeling that bringing in Redknapp would be just like bringing in Sven, big names does not = premier league football. Hopefully the Thais learned their lesson last time..

I have recently read a rumour on Twitter that we may be interested in signing Harry Redknap, has anybody else heard this rumour too?

I'd be surprised if there was any mention of any sport in the bulletin at 8pm as we generally don't put any in as it's quite short.

As for substance - we led with City/Pearson/Redknapp in our main afternoon sports bulletins due to what Pearson's agent said to Talksport earlier today.

What was said on Talksport?

So basically all they did was repeat rumours, probably picked up from a forum like this, which is where agents get their information.

Does anybody else think Pearson probably put his agent up to this? He gets the fans (even more) on side and helps spread the view that the owners would be mad to sack him at the minute. I suspect this is a bit of Nigel making his own moves to guarantee, as far as possible, his own job security. And also warning the owners that he isn't pleased that they may have spoken to somebody else about his own position. Pushing the owners into a supportive statement was probably partly the aim, here.
