Royal shitty ****ing mail! What a bunch of total wankers. Passport sent last Wednesday by recorded delivery. I still can't confirm if it's been delivered. The online tracking has been saying since last Friday that it's left the delivery depot for delivery, yet the automated tracking on their phones tells me it's processing through their network. I've pressed every ****ing option to try and speak to someone, and it's more or less impossible. ****s!

Talking to someone who works at one of the big Royal Mail depot places in London, she told me never to send owt by Recorded Delivery cos it gets treated just the same as normal mail, the special labels fall off all the time the way the mail gets chucked around, and you are paying more for a service that isn't any better than bog standard mail.

I sent a scrapbook page to her in January by recorded delivery, to her place of work as well, FIVE weeks later she received it.
Which was a bit worse than the cheque she sent me to pay for it! She sent that normal mail, four weeks later it hasn't shown so I tells her to cancel it and try again. three days later I have an envelope securely taped up containing £15 which had been sent special delivery along with an envelope containing the cheque she had sent a month before!

Apparently according to the people she spoke to when she complained, 'there's a backlog since before Christmas cos of the strikes last year'

Taking the piss? I think so.

Been going for about three sodding hours now outside my office playing a selection of Simon and Garfunkel 'classics' and other assorted shite
