I recently got a new mobile and told them that whilst I wanted it delivered to my work address the bill should still be sent to my home address.

Caller: We've just opened a showroom in Leicester, specialising in double glazed doors and windows.

Me: So?

Caller: We're offering special discounts on all purchases.

Me: We don't need doors and windows as we already have them.

Caller: Perhaps you'll be needing replacements?

Me: The house is barely 3 years old. If the doors or windows needed replacing at this stage, we'd be talking to the builders about it.

Caller: Oh. Well how about guttering and soffits?

Me: Did you not listen? The house is 3 years old.

Caller: I'll take that as a "no" then. Bye.
