I guess Charlton are well and truly fooked then!

Still, at least Bambi will soon be back in the Premiership... I hope Ade scores a hat-trick for Sheff Utd against him next season.

Nothing against Charlton as a club but if they appoint that piece of crap I hope they slip through the leagues and go bankrupt. Or maybe they can play Swindon in the cup next season and a meteor will hit the dugouts and everyone will get out of the way leaving nothing but the charred bodies of the two managers... Mr's Taylor and Wise.

PETER TAYLOR IS, WAS, AND FOREVER WILL BE THE BIGGEST W*NKER ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET. :( :( :(

My above post was about the explosion in Hull last night, that's all

Don't be modest - accept it as the touch of genius it seemed!

Hull City boss Peter Taylor has pulled out of the running to replace Alan Curbishley as manager of Charlton Athletic.
The England Under-21 chief had an interview with the The Addicks but.after mulling over the move Taylor decided to stay at The KC Stadium following three and a half years with the Humberside outfit.
Taylor had earlier stated he felt 'honoured' to be interviewed for the role, but it now appears that Phil Parkinson and Mick McCarthy are the new favourites for the job.
"I'm very, very happy here and I've always been," Taylor told Sky Sports News. "If you have a chance to go into The Premiership, the lure is a fantastic challenge.
"I'd expect all of my players to want to play in The Premiership. I'm proud of what's been achieved here. I still feel there is still work to do. "The more I thought about it the more I decided it wasn't for me."

Very surprised he turned it down. Would have thought he'd have wanted to step up asap. Perhaps the similarities with City were too scary for him.

(Although as with Newell and us, it doesn't say it was actually offered to him).

Obviously didnt offer enough money!

Load of crap about staying wanting to stay in Hull

He knows he's not good enough.

This is worrying. I might lose my bet on relegation outsiders for the first time in 4 years.

It doesn't matter OldGit. You are a man, your Wife, I hope, is a woman. In which case, when it comes to matters of football, you will always be right. This is just a harsh fact that women have to deal with whether we like it or not

Probably because they wouldnt let him carry on his england work.
