Hoping for a good draw. I'm still yet to see us progress past a quarter final. The Wycombe debacle still hurts a little.

I used to like watching the draw after the live match on bbc1. The best times were when a minnow had won and it showed their reaction when they drew Manchester United away or something. Gone are those days unfortunately. Fortunately, I don't ever really remember watching the One Show but by the sounds of it it's a big pile of shit.

Do you think we'll ever be seen as a 'big club'? I mean, what exactly do we need to do?

(Not that I necessarily want to be a big club btw. Not if that includes a sense of entitlement. This 'winning the Prem' thing is all a bit new to me and I'm not really used to it)

Relocating to London would be a good start. :)

The one show is a steaming pile of utter shit.

They should do the draw on countryfile.

Surly the FA Cup draw should only be shown on an Emirates app (downloadable for £1.35) from their web-site.

Sounds daft but the FA Cup is still the one for me. Too young to remember us losing finals, but old enough to grow up in an era when I thought it was the only thing we’d ever have a chance of winning. And even that was a long shot.

Now we have a real chance. Not just season, generally. We are well run and wealthy. We ought always to be giving this a go under those circumstances. But this season particularly. We are two wins from Wembley. I don’t want a big club, I want a kind draw. Coventry would be lovely. Let the big boys knock one another out.

We’ve had some lows as a football club in my time. Administration, relegation to League One. But Administration was off the pitch and the blow softened a little by promotion. Relegation to League One felt inevitable, even though it hurt. But the defeat by Wycombe came as a surprise.

We were going well in the league. We’d just beaten the Liverpool side we’d face in the semi final in a league game. I thought we were going to win the cup. It was only ****ing Wycombe. The 17 year old me was crestfallen behind that goal and it has stayed with me ever since.

And it has developed its own history. The beginning of our decline. Which of course was bugger all to do with that defeat - there were a million and one reasons - but the run of results that followed fit the narrative nicely and play well to the emotions. Winning the FA Cup would slay the final myth of Leicester City as bridesmaids. We’ll have won the lot. And it might help me to forget about Roy bastard Essandoh.

Or Wednesday- a visit to a nearby ground would suit me and we'd get plenty of tickets.
Couldn't afford to lose though as I'd get constant stick from the Massive (as they call themselves) which includes my youngest grandson's dad who keeps offering me his spare shirts and tickets to games he's going to.

Having met some of their fans in the past I am assuming the Massive is short for Massive Bellwhiffs

My POSH-supporting sister gets a close look at Iheanacho immediately after he scores our third. Ha!
