Well I'm sorry but when your defence hoof it over the midfield to those upfront, competely bypassing those in the midlde then that isn't playing football imo.

Why isn't it?

I don't like folk using the argument about the game 30+ years ago either, the game as changed so much since those days. Whereas a lot of modern day footballers probably wouldn't be able to cope with the game then, equally it could be said the same percentage of those from days gone by wouldn't be able to cope with today's game. Though obviously theo nes with the skill would always shine no matter what era imo.

Quite agree, comparing 70s football with the modern-day game is like comparing it to ice hockey.

I'll change it to playing 'good' football then shall I?:icon_razz

Nope, that's just as wrong :icon_bigg I'll not make the same point about it that I already have dozens of times. I'll just say this - if it wins games or gets results you otherwise wouldn't have got, it's good football.

Your question doesn't answer his question. Can you see the importance of not losing games?
Yes I can. But I would still rather win two lose three and draw one than draw all six for obvious reasons. Can you not see my point? It's not rocket science

complete bollocks imho.

I like that we keep picking up points, we are clearly quite a tough team to beat. And every point is going to count when it is all said and done. If we can nick a win from Donny and come back with 5 points from 3 away games I'll be happy.

What are you telling me obvious stuff for? I'm not arguing with you, I'm just pointing out that your answering his question with another question didn't help anybody.

Has anyone noticed the awful pictures from the game? You are able to see Blue Maniac on several of them. :018: No warnings of any sort either. Terrible. :icon_lol: :icon_wink

:icon_eek: Christ, nobody needs that.

Actually, if you can see the girl on my right that should take the edge off.

We're not a couple :018:

going unbeaten is great if it means winning a lot with a few draws scattered in, but going unbeaten is shite if you are drawing everything with the odd win chucked in

lies lies and damn statistics i suppose

if at any point somebody says "unbeaten run" and the run contains less points than winning and losing every game, it's a shite unbeaten run (the six don't btw)

two wins in ten? fairly shite

:icon_bigg

It also depends on the teams you're playing.
If you draw two games and one of them is against your promotion rivals, it could be better than losing against them and beating someone else.

He has his arms in the air and the girl in the pink coat is next to him. I wonder who she is? Looks familiar.
