Jesse Marsch back in the game already, with Southampton getting him in to replace Jones. I thought Hassenhutl was doing as good a job as could be hoped for given the squad he had, and Marsch seems similar to him and also an upgrade on Jones - still a very big ask to dig them out of the bottom three though

I think Marsch is a good manager, his problem was that Leeds squad is full of Championship players apart from Gnonto.
To save Southampton is a tough ask though as I think their problems happened in the summer with their recruitment - far too much of a reliance on young, unproven players.

Billy McNeill was sacked by Man City and took over at Villa in the 1986/87 season both were relegated ( pre premier league so some will say it won’t count)
They weren't in the bottom three when they sacked him. So if they go down it will be the next manager's fault.
