Made me laugh when he referenced his gardening leave at QPR after "turning up for an interview to be told he wasn't needed"!

Wish I could see it.

me too Alex.........

anyone know of a reliable link?

Good appointment though..........:038::038::038: I feel good about him, he should last at least until pancake day 2008

That bit about 'learning nothing from victory but only learning from defeat' was embarrasing, as cringeworthy as Ronnie Corbett in Sorry.

It was a bit out of place in an attempted positive conference. However, it is also completely true.

I was also surprised that there were so few journo's there and very few questions. All very low key.

The 'journo' asking the questions was John Barber from RL.

Journos from the nationals etc , would have been out and about on their expenses at that time of the evening!

More interesting footy news around yesterday than another appointment at Circus Leicester

I'm just so relieved there was no terrible twist that involved Steve McClaren.

Quite pleased, some of the other people linked and interviewed were so awful that we could have done a lot worse.

I think we're a bit lucky that there was a 2 week break after Bristol City got beat by 6 at Ipswich, hopefully no wounded tiger response and a nice easy 6 points over the weekend.

FFS. That's about on a par with the numbnuts last year saying they wouldn't take Sven even if we were offered him.

We wouldn't want a manager who took Middlesbrough to the UEFA cup final. Mongie.

I don't dispute its veracity, simpy the decision to vocalise it at (what should be) a fanfare of positivity.

The last thing I want to hear about is learning from defeat because that makes the whole lot of us a bunch of sodding genuii.

ive noticed that city world have got the video of the press conference up but they,ve cut the bit were ollie has ago at england and in particular bartram.

Does anybody know whether Holloway is likely to bring his management team with him? Am I correct in thinking his assistant manager at plymouth was tim breaker? ex West Ham? Good footballing pedigree??

:018:

MM should have asked him if he likes Showaddywaddy in the interview, to avoid embarrassing situations like this.

:034::icon_bigg of course its very easy to typo bartrum with barwick:icon_redf
