TOSS!!

That doesnt even do it justice, in the first half we were unbelievable, i couldnt believe what i was watching. I very very nearly took my £27 derby ticket back.
We will get turned over by the scum dont have any worries about that. Put your money on the rams next week for sure.

Im starting to question Kelly, something i didnt want to do or think i would do.
playing a 50% fit matty fryatt who was awfull is a ridiculous idea. I have been Sylla's biggest critic but today he was one of our better players, what did Kelly do? a straight swap for Josh fecking low.

We had no creativity and yet again we insisted on hoofing the ball for the entire game when it was clear they were beating us to every ball in the first 10 mins, now either Kelly has told them thats how were playing (if so he can feck off) or we have the most stupid bunch of players in the league who would make beckham look like einstein.

Overall a gutless performance with some very poor tactics against a preston team who didnt look like anything special but still beat us at home.

VERY VERY DISSAPOINTING (As were the fans from the word go)

well said could not have put put it better

but having said that 5 players i thought did well was hume ,nissa, logan
levi when he came on and Mcauley the rest where a waste of time WTF was huges up to ffs :icon_evil

I don't think any of the players today heard the news about MM taking over. Well they fecking should as their jobs are on the line.

Useless twats

It would seem that the coaching staff and players are looking to leave the Club then. :icon_conf :icon_conf

Re: PNE Match

Hello folks.

Preston fan here. Just wondering what you thought of us today. You've got an excellent stadium and some very good players. I think if Mr Mandaric takes over then you should do well. You could just do with some players who've tasted success in the Championship.

All the best for the rest of the season.

impressive first half proberbly the best team down here so far this season on that display. but very negative in the second half looked a different team and appeared quite content to hold on to a 1-0 lead. continually wasting time once they scored remember them doing the same when they drew here a couple a seasons ago.

just got back. awful display.

what we played today couldn't be called football. more like rugby, could only pass across or back, otherwise high and long. maybe thats why the tigers were interested????

one good point - Momo Sylla, excellent display (for him) ran a lot off the ball, flew into a few tackles (not very well, but the desire was there) i was quite pleased.

Everyone else was trash. our passing accuracy must have been something like 10%

we do not know how to attack. At all! no vision, creativity or desire.

I was surprised Preston settled for the one goal, they could have thrashed us, we were never a threat to them.

Stupid substituation bringing off Sylla (he didn't look tired or injured)

i don't want to single anyone out for critisism but fryatt didn't do a thing right, playing him not fit, has now only served to damage his confidence, great move RK!!!!

At least with Paddy Mac back, we might if we are lucky get a 0-0 at derby, we are never going to score playing like that!

Every player was utter crap no passion nor desire, we didn't go at PNE for long periods..

Is Fryatt still injured or has he always been that slow?

Momo really impressed me today, again!! Why take him off??

Every player was 5 apart from McAuley (he should be first defender on the team sheet another quality performance) Tiatto- battled hard and Sylla who got 7's

Hughes and Stearman clearly doesn't work, well Hughes with anyone doesn't work, a liability at the moment no way should he get in the team.

At this moment in time id get rid of Hughes AJ and Low

Glad that I didn't drag myself off my sickbed to go today judging by the vast majority of the comments.

Sky Sports chap said we were unlucky based on our secong half display as did the BBC summariser Gerald Sinstadt.

RL said that the team and bench today were the only players fit ENOUGH to actually take part which probably explains why we are running out of steam, There must be a number of players who should not be on the field because they are unfit or not match fit.

The best move RK made today was briinging Tiatto into midfield. He gave us some direction and bite there. Hitherto, Hughes & Stearman had been passive and woeful.
Our attitude, especially in the 1st half was generally abysmal. Some of our players certainly need a more committed outlook

The first 30 minutes was among the worst I've evr seen us play.

Saying that however, we started to pull it together and played really well 2nd half

I have to admit in the first half their ball skills and passing was better than ours - and their size - and their speed - and their commitment! God we looked shite next to them in the first half. Much better with Porter left wing and Tiatto in the middle. Last ten minutes we tried the 'Dion Dublin' formation - Macauley upfront as 3-4-3. Shame RK waved Logan back from our final corner with 2 minutes to go!

I agree with a lot of whats been said by you guys on here.

I thought that was Momo's best performance today. Thought he worked his gonads off. I didn't actually think hughes was that bad, he just had no one in front of him to pass too hence the reason why he kept having to go back.

I'm getting more impressed with Johansson by the game. He's looking a lot better and his distribution was good.

1 point i will disagree with though was Macauley. I thought his first half perforance was utter shite. He was in Ageymang's pocket all half. He was second to the ball each time despite on quite a few occasions being in front of the player. Granted he had a better 2nd half but maybe that was for some strange reason as said before, Preston took the 2 frontmen off. Kisnorbo however was immense. Too good for this league. we need to improve soon or were not gonna keep him

Hume gives his all as usual but is lacking the quality from midfield that he needs. He'd be awesome in their team. I was impressed with them today. They are a good passing outfit who never really got out of first gear and all in all looked comfortable.

P.S. Low is Crap

Bring on Milan Mandaric

Hume giving his all isn't good enough. Yes he is strong and fights for the ball. His first touch is shite and most of the time he had time to control it and then make the pass. You can only play like Arsenal if you have the same skills as Arsenal! Keep it simple Hume! Do not assume Fryatt will be left/right infront/behind you because he never is, because you two do not have that sort of chemistry! So control it and fecking have a look first!
Thought Momo was brilliant. Just wish he had the Tiatto 'chase them back and retrieve the ball' spirit!

Preston were the best footballing side all year for 30 minutes and then decided to soak everything up. The kind of thing you would expect from promotion hopefuls. Second half they were there for the taking.

Momo best player, worst player the bookie what made my Stearman to score first bet into a Maybury to score first bet.

We are useless at penetrating teams.

We seem to keep passing the ball around across the Defence and then across the Midfield but instead of looking for the killer pass we are too happy just to pass it back to the Defence and hoof it forward.
Other teams get the ball and look to go forward with pace and purpose, we look clueless once we get past the half way line.

We do not have, for obvious financial reasons, a Scholes or Gerrard, or in our past a Muzzy or Lennon that can hold the ball in midfield and either run at the defence or place the killer pass to a forward or a winger.
